Tried & True: 13 Classic Quilts for Reproduction Fabrics

Love this book. I am hooked on Civil War quilts. This book is full of beautiful quilts. I plan on making all of them!

This book has many of the patterns that have maintained through history. Many are easy enough for beginning quilters, but interesting enough for the experienced. Instructions are clear and concise. Very pleased.

Jo Morton's quilts are fabulous no doubt about it. The fabric combinations and patterns are wonderful. I was looking through this book and noticed the Peppermint Twist quilt which I have in a kit from a book published many years ago by Jo Morton. Another one from this book (Red and green) is also in the other book in the same fabrics...same size as is the Peppermint Twist one. I recognized other reprints as well although I didn't look them up in the other books they are in. When I get a new book, I expect new patterns....new fabrics and new information not the same things I have already by the same author. So that is why I gave this book a lower rating. The book is great IF...you don't have any of Jo's other books.

Gorgeous quilts. Can't wait to try out a few of the patterns.

This is a fabulous book, I love all the patterns. Hard to decide which to do first. Clear instructions. Good buy.
