I honestly wasn’t sure if a cat food could make a difference for someone with allergies, but Purina LiveClear Pro Plan has been a complete game-changer for both me and my cat. I’m allergic to cats, but after switching to this food, I can pick my cat up and even sniff her without any irritation—it’s truly amazing! Eatability: My cat absolutely loves it. She digs right in every meal, and I’ve noticed she actually eats her portions consistently without leaving bits behind. This ca food has helped my household tremendously. The ingredients appear to help minimize allergies to cats. I have noticed a difference in how my child feels and symptoms. It does seem to take some time before it’s noticeable. The appearance and quality of the food is great. Though the items are a little larger than the normal food we use, it is still a good size. While the cost is more expensive than most, I do find it worth the cost to make sure my family and pets are healthy and active. Different flavors and sizes are available.

My cat allergy is mild/moderate (sniffly, sneezing, itchy throat, red puffy eyes, dermatitis around eyes). Allergy meds just weren't cutting it so I took the plunge and tried this. It was really effective for me; within a few weeks my symptoms were gone. My cat could sleep on my pillow and rub against my face and I had no flare-ups. It was like I wasn't allergic at all. Both cats I've had like it a lot, too. Chow right down on it, meowing for it, seems to keep the coat glossy and energy up. It's pricey, but worth it for me; it's basically the only way I can have a cat at all.

Good product. Stopped coughing from cat dander shortly after. Canceled subscription due to unreliable Amazon delivery. I will stock up instead and have a reliable source in my closet. The few cents saved on a subscription don't warrant the unreliability.

For now I recommend it. I didn’t expect a change, but since switching to this allergen-reducing formula I feel my allergies have gone down at home. My cat accepted the chicken & rice, high-protein kibble without fuss, and digestion has been fine after a gradual transition. It does cost more than regular food, but if the dander/allergen reduction continues, it’s worth it for me.

I’ve had a series of sinus surgeries and have been to numerous allergists due to issues with allergy-related asthma. Most of my allergies are cat dander and pollen-related. This after a couple of weeks, I noticed a tremendous improvement in my allergy symptoms and breathing issues. The cats seem to prefer this over their wet food which is better than them not liking it at all. However I do have to state that I have one cat with GI issues and something about turkey (no matter which manufacturer makes it) causes major issues so we avoid that flavor—unfortunately it’s the only version of Liveclear that’s for sensitivities.. Instead, we feed our cats the chicken version. One thing I will note is that it seems like the cat urine smell has become increasingly concentrated in their litter box. I used to be able to go every 2-3 days when it came to cleaning their robot whereas now I’m finding I have to take it out almost every day. I really hope that this food doesn’t create kidney issues/crystals for them in the future.

I’m so grateful that we found this. A few members in the household are a bit allergic to our cat, which is unfortunate. However, after feeding our cat this, our allergies are much improved. The price point is higher than average, but it’s worth it. Plus one bag goes a long way and our cat likes it.

This stuff has saved my life and laundry! I used to have to put my clothes directly in the laundry if I petted a cat. He was so allergic he would swell up and not be able to breathe. Now my hubby can hold a cat and not get sneezy!
