DisguiseDisney Hiro Big Hero 6 Deluxe Boys' Costume

It's really cute. My toddler was so excited to wear this. The helmet face shield can smash the face. My little guy has a small head but I can see how eventually I will have to cut the eye plastic out as he grows into it. The extra accessories like the shoulder pads and knee pads are made of a rubber/foam material so they hold up a lot better than plastic. The costume itself is also padded. I'm so glad I went with the upgrade to the deluxe version. Totally worth it. It does run true to size. My guy is little and petite for 3 I bought the next size up and it was a little big but it was great for us because he can dress up even after Halloween, so you might want to go the next size up if your child is not petite.

I ordered his outfit because it was exactly what my 3 year old wanted for Halloween. I must say it was overpriced for the quality, but then again so are most Halloween Costumes. He absolutely loved it, and is able to wear it on occasion now (6 months later). I was surprised that I was able to wash it without it falling apart. I didn't dry the costume, as I am sure it would have fell apart. Overall "I Like it" but my three year old "Loves it"

Costume looks okay especially for the price point. As someone else mentioned before, some of the parts are disproportionately sized. I had to saw the belt and "knee pads" to shorten them a bit since the velcro parts are situated only at the ends making it impossible to "tighten" without adding more velcro, sawing them short, or tying them on a knot. Also, a velcro part was missing on the shoulder pad; an easy fix if you have some adhesive velcros lying around, which luckily I did. And lastly, as others mentioned, the mask fogs up. I also decided to cut the clear plastic part.

Costume fit great. Mask, not so much. It pressed against my 3 year old nose and fogged up when he wore it. I felt a little cheated when I noticed that the picture used to advertise the costume had the clear plastic removed from the face shield. But wwith some duct tape and rolled up paper towel I was able to modify the inside of the mask so that it would not smush his nose and lessened the fogging factor. He was a happy trick or treater.

We ordered larger. He's a 2T. Ordered the 3T-4T size and it fit great over layers. Exactly what we expected. Only objection is to the mask. The face is not open. It's enclosed by clear plastic with a small vent opening- so it fogged up a lot. He loved it so that's all that matters :)

My 2 year old son is OBSESSED with Big Hero 6... He was thrilled to see this Hiro Hamada costume. He plays in it at least once a day. My only complaint is that the face mask sits awfully close to the face, squishing my sons nose a bit. I don't like this fact, but the breathing hole is in the perfect spot, and he doesn't breathe out of his nose anyway, so I'm not giving the costume less stars because of it.

Cute, but there is actually plastic over the face, where it appears to be open...it's uncomfortable for my son, as it squishes his face. :-/ I will try to cut that part out somehow...otherwise it's cute.

Very sad about this costume- It was cute and fit great, but did NOT come with the Mask OR the shoulder pads (as stated in the description). I went to return it, and thought I 'hid" the costume from my son but he was SO excited, he put it on and ran around in it, so I didn't feel right about sending it back. So, unfortunately for me, I had to buy another Hiro Costume....
