STAR WARS The Black Series Han Solo (Bespin) 6-inch Scale The Empire Strikes Back 40TH Anniversary Collectible Action Figure

I've been selective over which figures are collected mainly since some of the "human" characters often don't look anything like the actor. The droid and creature characters look more realistic and are easy picks. Having seen some of the previous Han Solo releases, this one has a better likeness and comes in the throwback packaging and 40th anniversary marking. It's understood why the original packaging type was chosen but if you choose to open it you have to destroy the packaging to open it or cut the plastic. This was purchased more as a collectible item so it remains unopened. It was purchased early on when it was normal retail pricing so it was a good buy. The current price as of this review isn't too bad if you're interested in picking up this as a collectible. Some figures can be double retail. Overall the features are more realistic. The movement is that of typical figures of this type. it has it's limitations especially with flexibility of the arms and legs. That would affect those who may expect more "play" out of this figure. As a collectible it looks great on a shelf if displaying is an option.

The product is great. And for a collector like me that opens items and puts them on display everything was perfect. But mint on card collectors beware: this arrived mangled. If you have to buy online for any of these 40th Anniversary figures, I would recommend you buy from a site that caters towards collectors. If you are like me and just wanted a Bespin Han Solo... order away!

Haven't seen this in any of the stores around here, so all I knew was what I saw on Amazon. Let me tell you my picture probably looks like all the others but when you open that box and see it for the first time it will blow your mind. This figure looks awesome!

This figure is great. The detail and the likeness is also really good. The packaging was extremely damaged, which really sucks. If you’re a collector than this is really heartbreaking. Luckily, I was planning on taking the figure out of the packaging. Poorly packed.

Another very good figure from Hasbro. A little bit of paint slopiness on the cheeks of the face, but otherwise good. VERY easy to pose. Joints are smooth and stable.

Been needing a Han figure for a while, and this fits the bill! Had trouble moving his right arm for a bit but got it figured out. Amazing face sculpt, very accurate.

Arrived in perfect condition.. Owesome depiction of my favorite caracter. He will be piloting my new vintage Millenium Falcon.

I ordered this for my Star Wars loving grandson’s Easter Basket per his request. It took awhile to arrive and when it did finally get here, the package had been opened. I am not happy about that for the price I paid for it. I might be returning it if I can get my hands on an unopened one in time for Easter!!!
