I had researched crepe makers for several weeks - not to make crepes but Welsh Cakes. It needed to be one that the hotplate would have an even heat all over which this does, and then when I read the reviews for this one, another reviewer said it was great for Welsh Cakes. I received it yesterday and made my first batch today. Brilliant. So easy compared with the electric skillet I had struggled with for years which would be hotter in the middle and cooler on the edges. I thoroughly recommend it for Welsh Cakes. Don't know if I will ever use it for crepes.

A great piece of kitchen hardware that makes use of all your fridge favourites, when thrown together with eggs. Simply to use and very easy to keep clean!

Absolutely love this. Great price. It works great, not to big. Pancakes came out great, bit of practice needed but looking forward to using it.Came with a spatula and a thing to spread out the pancake mixture.

Omelettes, fried eggs, pancakes. All a nightmare to cook in a pan. Well, after a month or two the pan becomes a little clingy and isn't quite how it used to be when it was fresh.On a whim I purchased this Russell Hobbs crepe maker and when I got it out of the box I was shocked at how light it is! I'm not sure why I expected it to be heavier but this thing is absolutely portable wherever you decide to go with one.I think it would be ideal for little trips away; camping etc.I've yet to actually make a crepe so far, but pancakes, omelettes and fried eggs have all been successfully made with zero fuss or mess.Cleaning is a doddle, I've just been waiting until it cools down then wipe clean with wet kitchen roll.The little lighting indicators tell you when your surface has reached your desired temperature, even the lower temps were hotter than I expected so try cooking your items on a lower heat and increase if necessary.While I don't use this every single day, it is getting used multiple times a week and will be for the foreseeable future!It's now a kitchen mainstay.

Doesn’t heat up to a high temperature so crepes came out chewy and took ages to cook. Needs to heat up higher so that they crisp a bit. Not happy with it for crepes pancakes but will use it for eggs bacon etc see if that’s any good. Maybe that’s why it was reduced price

This is fantastic. Perfect product for making excellent food. We made Welsh Cakes and they cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.
