I bought this after being tired of trying to wrangle my shop fans around as I move above and below projects, and also to avoid using the disposable battery powered fan I had that worked great but ate D-batteries like crazy. I have plenty of Craftsman 20v batteries laying around so thought this was worth a short, and it has so far been great! It is so portable I can put it right where I need it, so no need to blast it (usually keep it on 1 or 2) and it has lasted hours on a single 2aH battery. Haven't tried my larger 20v batteries but I'm sure it would go forever on those. I also love that I can just plug a power cord into it if I want to. Having that option is great, especially if I take the fan with me and the battery runs out, but I have the option to plug it in by cord. Doesn't come with a cord as you just hook a regular extension cord up to it, and that is nice as I use it by battery most of the time so I don't have to have a useless cord coiled up getting in the way and getting damaged. Fan isn't heavy (probably weighs around twice as much as a 2ah battery) and has a nice lift handle on the back. Haven't tried hanging it but you can do that, too. I'd may by a second one and won't think twice about it.

The fan is made from durable plastic and designed for jobsite use, so it’s fairly rugged but still lightweight and easy to carry around. portable fan for garages, job sites, and outdoor use. It’s especially worth it if you already own CRAFTSMAN 20V batteries. It’s durable, portable, and the AC/DC power option makes it very versatile. While it won’t replace a large room fan or air conditioner, it works great for personal cooling and small spaces.

Really nice fan. Battery life last a while and the size is good. Different speeds give off different noise levels but all are mostly quiet.

For reference.. most of my power / yard tools are cordless - they take 20v lithium ion batteries. They’re all either Black & Decker or Craftsman - whose batteries are compatible / interchangeable with each other. When I saws that this was “V20” I mistakenly thought that meant 20v - oops!.. nope - it wouldn’t accept any of the 8 batteries I already have. My options were to… buy compatible batteries? - no, just no.. Return it?, which didn’t really make much sense, as any other fan of this type would still require an adapter for all the batteries I already have. Or.. get an adapter - which is what I ended up doing. I really needed a battery operated fan. I “lucked out” last year, after losing power from Hurricane Milton - there was a cold front that followed it through, so not having A/C for several days wasn’t much of a problem. That’s not the “norm” down here though. As I already have so many 20v lithium ion batteries, it seemed a “no brainer” to buy this type. Ok, so.. this seems really well made / rugged, considering that it’s plastic. The noise? - I’ve never really come across any plastic bladed fan that didn’t seem to make more noise than it should for its size - that holds true for this one too - it’s not “excessive” though. The noise was all from the fan blades - there were no odd vibrations, squeaks, hums, or whines - just blade flutter. The CFM? - eh.. not terribly “great” but sufficient. I did expect better from a fan of its size though. I have an electric, metal bladed fan, this same size, and it moves more air on low than this one does on high.. I really just needed this for back-up cooling during any loss of power down here (Florida). I tested / timed this for battery drain - it ran 4hrs & 20min, with varying speeds (mostly med & high), on a “not brand new” fully charged battery.

We purchased this fan to take with us to softball games. We loved how it worked with our current Craftsman 20v batteries so we didn’t have to purchase another battery and charger. To our surprise, you can also plug an extension cord in to the fan to save the battery! Works great at the field, out on the patio, or here in the house. Quiet and strong, lightweight, and easy to hang from a fence! Love this fan!

Je suis un vendu de la gamme Craftsman 20V. Par contre, c’est le premier outil de la gamme qui me déçoit. Bon seulement si vous voulez la mettre à 2 pieds de votre visage.
