J model but came in little white box & has arabic/english days. genuine watch? put watch back in case at 12:30am, sec hand stopped at 7:30am. Normal?

Yes I have 3 Seiko J models in the Diver type and they were in Arabic. Just turn till english reads then do the time. But Im sure you know this,
As for the second hand stopping. Are you saying the second hand stops but the other hands keep the correct time?  Or it stops all together.Yes mine cam in white nothing box
Be honest I dont like the watch that much and havent worn it much but is functions as any other mechanical watch I own . Just doesnt have a long run time as my Orient Mako diver.  Just be sure to shake it to get it going to wind it and wear it the rest of the day while doing activities.
All these watches are really Made in Malaysia anyways for the Japan market due to Laws. What I read is that only the Grand Seikos are really  Made in Japan. The Price is the sure sign. As labor in Japan is expensive.Most of the movemtn are made by robots also.  I wear a J model Seko Diver using the same movt and it has been fine. Maybe you just got a bad one.  most watches under 150$ are going to have Chinese cases/glass assembled even tough that can say  Japan or Swiss movts.. I bought it as it said "Made in Japan" on the face and back. that was the selling point and a open face back and the 24hr military time feature as I travel in Europe often.
