Botanicum Coloring Book: Special Edition (Maria Trolle)

This hardcover coloring book contains a lot of beautiful pictures by the artist to color. The paper is great for gel pens. It has an interesting nature theme and I'm having fun coloring!

Pictures are going to a local nursing home. Prismacolor pencils make the art so beautiful. The paper is great to color on, as well. I followed two different colorist. I will use Dollar Tree frames to display the art work. My granddaughter loves unicorns so I colored her one from this book.I used a lot of clear/colored glitter gel pens Not to leave out my grandson, I colored the Halloween page for him. In the black part of the flowers. I added white dots for eyes, a black cat and small bats. I want too color every page which I have never done.

I now own all of her hard cover coloring books. I always buy a set for my Mom who also loves them as well. All the books are two-sided, and gel pens work wonderfully on them with NO bleed through. The pages are calming, and provide beautiful artworks of nature. This newest book is so fun to work on, and I am hoping that a new one is in the works. Highly recommend all the books, especially this one. So fun to share with a friend or loved one as well.

Love love love, it's my favorite adult coloring book. I find some of the other books that while beautifully drawn with interesting artwork, ruined with hidden object silliness. It detracts from the artwork, but that's totally my own opinion, other people love that. I find myself passing over my other books and using this one over and over. I find her artwork to be very calming and interesting. Will buy more coloring books from this wonderful artist.

Hardcover, beautiful images on paper that is quality made. I love these color book so much! The hardcover makes it feel so much more elegant and serious. It also give you that hard surface if you want to take it on a bus or train with you and color it there. Definalty a must have for any colorists collection

Liked the challenges of more detailed images

Beautiful pictures on nice thick paper with a bit of tooth. I have used both Castle Art pencils & Prismacolor Premier pencils on the paper and have been able to layer up to six times.If I had any issues it would be the fact that the images are on both sides of the paper. This prevents the use of markers unless you want to write off the image in the back side of the paper.

I have over 25 coloring books by well-known illustrators from Europe, Asia and North America. This beautiful volume is one of the top two I own! It's just a delight.
