This is a great case it has kept my phone from breaking for years now. If I didn't have it on my phone it wouldn't have lasted this long, and my phone still looked new when I take it out of the case. I am a maintenance tech I put my phone through a lot, I drop it all the time. Says a lot for this case. I am happy with the price and the product. Great buy

TL;DR: Without this Otterbox case, my phone would be in pieces on my lawn.I dropped my last phone and shattered the screen. I bought a replacement to take photos on a backpacking trip and I figured it was time to order a better case. This case is a bit bulky for my pocket, but I decided it was worth it. I didn't use the front case cover that clips over it though. I did add an InvisibleShield screen protector.I dropped my phone a few times on the trails, and each time the case and the screen cover protected it.Fast forward to mowing the lawn on my zero turn this weekend. I'm merrily mowing and listening to music, with the phone in the armrest of the machine, when I bounce over some gopher mounds. Unbeknownst to me, the phone is launched onto the ground and into the mulching blades. My music continues to play in my headset. Finally I realize the phone is gone. When I find it, it's in the woods next to the lawn. It has been chewed up and spit out by the blades. Incredibly, the only damage is two scratches across the screen where the blades went through the protector. The case has gouges through it, but the phone and cameras are safe.Needless to say, I ordered another case and screen protector today (both increased in price in the past month but I didn't hesitate), and I took the time to post this review. :)

I just bought this on here which was a renewed item was brand new in original box. The fit and finish is excellent. It feels very firm and rugged. It should last for many years. I do not use the holster but it does snap in tight and the clip is very snug and tight but I don't have any use for that myself but the case itself works great The rubber snap on the bottom that goes over the charging port is very firm should last for many years. I can't post any photos because it's actually on my phone

I like the defender case and it works great. The other is it doesn't snap in the case it falls out on several occasions. It does great protecting the phone from being dropped on the floor or ground. Other then that I would recommend it to my family and friends.

All good, but the screen shields seem to not fit or function as well when in this case. One even just popped off completely. Maybe this case is not great for the glass shields. Maybe the thin flimsy film shields would be a better choice.

So my family and I were driving in the car listening to the music from my phone on the Bluetooth. We made a hard left at a busy intersection then shortly after the music stopped. Fortunately our destination was right after the hard left. I looked for my phone could not find it. I used gps location to determine my phone was in the middle of the intersection I must have left it on the roof to buckle in my son. Anyway upon seeing the phone it was face down right in the middle of the street. I was about 20 feet from it when I saw a car run it over with the front and back tire. I sighed. Deeply. I thought how many other cars may have run it over it's shot. I pick it up to reveal not a single scratch. This case coupled with a particular screen cover completely protect every single part of my phone not a scratch a dent not a ding nothing at all. I would strongly recommend this product and any other product from OtterBox. I'm an OtterBox customer for life with out doubt. If u can protect it with an OtterBox I got it.

As usual great product. I stopped counting how many OtterBoxes I purchased over the years. This is my number one choice. Saved my phones multiple times.

This has protected my phone for several years before I needed to replace it due to a broken corner. Well worth the money.
