Very Enjoyable Read!
I was just coming off an amazing series...The Tainted Accord series, and was looking for another to dive into. I honestly didn’t think I would like this series as much as I did. I thought it was just going to fill the gap until I found a better one. But it had me laughing and recommending it within the first couple chapters. Which I never recommend a series until I complete it but it was just that good. The character development was really wonderful and realistic. I never struggled to understand a characters’ decisions or actions they were very believable. Which is good because I can’t stand when authors create unrealistic scenarios just to further the intensity. And speaking of intensity, there is plenty of it!!! The book starts off with the main Character Charlie having her betrothed stolen the day of her wedding. She decides to go in search of him with her best friend which is hilarious the way these two interact and get into trouble with one another. Two untrained princesses out in the real world their only mission is to save the men they love...very comical. I actually wish it had lasted a little longer. But alas, they are discovered by the Captain of the Guard, Princess Charlie’s brother. And that’s when the book series takes a turn. When Charlie decides to trail Logan (the brother of the captured prince), when he decides to break off from the group to move faster and at a stealthier pace. It is here where the book becomes action packed, with so many twist and turns that your never really sure how it will end up. There is a lot of anxiety from that factor alone because I was routing and hoping for things with no certainty that they would unfold the way I would have wanted them to. But I had faith in the authors story abilities to know that whether it was what I had hope for or not, it would all make sense and come to a decent conclusion nonetheless. I was not disappointed. With all the twist and turns this series reminded me of SJM A Throne of Glass series. Like I said, loved the story, loved the characters, what more can I say then take a chance and read it for yourself.

Emotions Abound in this Epic Historical Fantasy series!
**Review originally from Winter's Captive the first in the series, I won't comment on the bonus contents of the boxset much, but to say it's a must have for fans of this series!!** How have I not picked this up sooner?! I've had it on my Kindle for a while, and wanted to read it for longer, but somehow it never happened. I recently got the change to read 1-3 of this series, and I flew through this one, and can't wait to read more! There is so much to say about this series, but then again, I loved all the twists and surprises, and don't want to give any away. I'll just say that if it sounds like your kind of story, do yourself a favor and pick it up today!I will add one thing...well maybe more than on. One, Logan is one of those characters I know I'm going to like from the start! This doesn't always happen, but always does in my favorite books, some examples of characters I 'imprinted' on at first sight/line: Rhysand from ACOTAR, Murtagh from Eragon, Ryker from The Elite Trials, among others...So I knew I was in for a treat...I just had to look past Charlie's naive personality at first, but even she grew on me once she left her 'pampered' life, which often seems to be the point then I start to enjoy the FMC's personality as well.Second...oops, anyway, I found many of the 'twists' in this one to be predictable, yet that has seemed to happen a lot lately, and since they were always things that I was asking myself about, or expected when a character mentioned something anyway, or more often 'dismisses' something, it didn't not take away from the experience at all, and actually added to my enjoyment as I felt I was able to better predict and understand the characters, as if I had grown up along them.Overall, I loved reading this, and highly recommend it! Also, as mentioned I found this books similar to another favorite I read this year, The Elite Trials by Becky Moynihan! Especially the second book, but as it's a series (and you're gonna want to get ALL the feels, start with Reactive, it's a quick read, and totally worth it, Adaptive just gets better (think ACOTAR is required to enjoy ACOMAF fully, same type of things! Trust me!)

Unexpectedly Amazing
Very well written world, storyline, and characters! I saw this series on a Facebook ad which is usually leads to a very disappointing adventure. This series was absolutely wonderful and I am glad I found it after it was finished because I am pretty sure I would have rage quit after the second cliff hanger. 🤣

Not a YA Fan, loved it anyway
I wish I would have known to read this before the Lohmann Feuds, but in any case, I loved this series, love love love the male lead, not sure I am a HUGE fan of the FMC having so little self awareness, but it was an interesting character choice. Wonderful plot and unexpected twists. Highly recommend! Both this series and subsequent Lochlann Feuds are both clean reads, romance, no steam / not spicy. Though the description of The Lochlann Feuds say it increases in steam as it goes, it is still essentially fade to black. This series is absolutely fade to black.

Amazing tale! Suspenseful and engaging with a strong heroine!
This has honestly become one of my favourite series of all time! It's been years since I've found a tale that sucks me in and has me hanging on every word the way The Lochlann Treaty has.I thoroughly enjoyed the attention to detail and the building of relationships and backstory. I found myself feeling deeply all that was happening along with Princess Charlotte and surprised at what lay behind the bend. Instead of finding the content predictable, as I find I often do these days, I was in for surprises and hidden nuggets that I wasn't expecting which was incredibly refreshing! It's hard not to love this strong heroine who wrestles with change and expectations in life. Who learns the importance of stepping up and being a voice for change in a world in desperate need of it and being a friend to those in need. What family is and means and its importance... and also that of love.Bravo on an amazing series. I can't say enough good things about it. Read it right now. You won't regret it.

Creative world and brilliant love story.
Creative world and a brilliant love story.I thoroughly enjoyed this series. From the main characters, the story, the fiery fmc and the angry yet delicious and "only sweet for her" MMC. This book even had great supporting characters. This omnibus took me through 2 days of flying and I gobbled up the pages of every twist and turn as both kingdoms are wrapped in betrayal, alliances, treaties and secrets that will keep you hooked. The spice level is about a 2 with fade to black but the story and the main characters sustained you without the need for more. Obviously, some more description of our Captain would be appreciated though 😆A great read that I would recommend!

I laughed, I cried. It moved me Bob
This is what our young women should be reading! No waiting for a man to come to the rescue. Get up, wash your face, and get 'er done! The young heroine goes through quite the traumatic ordeal and goes from a women who believes that she has no say in her fate to being a Warrior Queen.Great character arcs all around. Great description of landscape and battle scenes.
