My bird loves this. It keeps his nails trim and sleeps on it.

At first my bird would not go anywhere near it because it was foreign to him. But I put his watering tube right over it to where he would have to get on it to get some water to drink which he does now. I no longer have to trim his toenails because it seems like it is doing a good job keeping his toenails from being so long.

My 18 year old cockatiel loves theses.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy & easy to clean. Although I'm still waiting for my 2 Canaries & 2 Finches to use this.Great addition

My cockatiel fit in there I tough maybe was going to be small but look ok.He already bit it on the corner.

The durability of this toy is fine -- although cleaning will eventually make the wood expand the the coating peel. After my Senegal parrot started showing signs of possible toxin exposure, I read about the dangers of zinc in galvinized metal (the main source of toxicity for pet parrots). So I tested the the bolts, wingnuts and washers with muriatic acid (which reacts with zinc in galvinized metal by foaming). The results were positive -- all the metal used in this perch is toxic!! I had to replace the provided hardware with stainless steel. Make sure all the metal used in your parrot toys/perches is stainless steel! If not, replace it or throw it out. I had been unaware of just how many parrot toys are made with galvinized metal!!! Be wary!
