My first Safety Razor product and experience. I actually checked to make sure that I placed a blade into the 'chamber.' The shave was so smooth and drag-free that I swore I was not shaving with any blade. It's very important to download and/or review the comprehensive manual from Bambaw. I know it's a razor, how much can a manual tell you? In this case, the proper Safety Razor technique is explained. In addition, there are helpful hints to overcome 'multi-blade disposable razor' (heads) habits. After 40+ years of hacking away at my face with those products, my bad habits were endless. Build quality is first rate. The weight and balance are far superior to Big Razor brands' buy-scrape-bleed-toss blades available. I believe the cost was quite reasonable for what I got (a great shave) and didn't get (frequent razor burn).

This is an amazing razor. Highly recommend for any other woman that struggle to shave without getting small cuts or bleeding every time you shave with multi razor heads. It can go over skin tags no problem. Leaves you soft and smooth and you can shave stumble without pain unlike multirazor heads. The razor itself is pretty heavy and has a good grippable handle. A lot of razors aimed at women have perfectly smooth handles that make you drop it in the shower or slip and make you cut yourself. The soap I got with it helps with a clean shave as well but it’s not required. I love that it’s very easy to clean the entire thing. Multirazor heads keep the hair you shave and let bacteria grow and it just looks disgusting!!!! I always hated that it’s so ugly. This one is very clean and beginner friendly. So far after the first week no cuts and a very close soft shave.

If you are like me and are tired of paying ridiculous prices for razor blades. Here's an alternative. I grew up on Safety Razors. Then somebody, I won't say who or this review won't see light of day. Said, we can give you a smoother shave. But these work as well today as they did 50-60+ years ago. And are very inexpensive to use. Blades are standard, and cheap. This Bambaw safety razor shaves as well as any that are selling for 4 times as much. And blades don't cost as much as a tank of gas. The real trick is using good shaving cream. This Razor comes with a pack of blades and a stand. It's simple to use and shaves as well as any Razor on the market. And it is a true Value, in this world of everything being overpriced. The next time you go to buy some new blades for that triple header, think about it. This is the cheapest investment with the best payout you can get. I strongly recommend this product. It's safe, reliable, easy to use and highly efficient. And spending more money on something proves only one thing.

This product comes in sustainable packaging and is great for those who are okay with taking a longer time shaving due to trying to be careful. I bought this for my husband and I. He used it a couple times but I use it more often. He liked it at first but he did realize that there were a higher frequency of cuts and he had to go slower. It worked very well apart from that. He did not see any change in the presence of ingrown hair, but, again, he only used it a couple of times. He is just the type of person who is not willing to take a longer time shaving. There is a cut guard but it doesn’t really help on sensitive areas like the jaw line and neck. I on the other hand, used it for my legs and have never had a smother shave. You still have to be careful but the pros outweigh the cons for me. The shave doesn’t last as long with this razor as opposed to a typical one though. Apart from that it has a very sleek design that I love with a convenient holder. The blades are super easy to install and assemble. Is very durable and will probably last you decades.

How smooth and wonderful! I had used a straight razor for nearly 40 years. At retirement I sold it off and thought I would just use cartridge razors since I didnt need to shave everyday and there is some maintaince needed on straight razors. Bought a well known brand of cartridge shaver. I HATED IT! Burned my face, my shave was never really smooth even right after shaving and I had to keep a little brush near by because the cartridges would always get clogged. HATE THEM. While I was sitting around regretting selling my razor I remembered my dad using a safety razor and spent hours looking at options and bought this one. I like that it is a model where the handle screws in and secures the blade. While I thought hard about the butterfly models I decided that simple was good for longevity. Moving things eventually break. The handle tightens down nicely and puts a nice downward curve too the razor. The razor looks and feels outstanding. It has some real heft to it. The top is beautifully smooth and the knurling is awesome and the scalloping on the head looks great. Just really surprised by the quality for some $20. So .. Important info .. Just had my first shave. Oh my goodness is this thing smooth. After my first stroke I thought I had done something wrong as it didn't feel like it cut anything only to get closer and realize that there was a perfectly smooth patch where I had dragged it. Amazing! I didn't even feel it. So thrilled with the quality and at least for now the blades are wonderful. Just like when I shaved with a straight razor my shave is ultra close. My old face feels like new soft skin. Because you dont need to keep passing over the same area to get a nice shave there is almost no shave burn. Took me a while to choose but I am glad I decided on this razor. Love the feel, the looks, the weight, the blades and the fact that with this blade mounting system there is no chance of the blade walking around and potentially hurt me.

I was really hesitant, I've seen people hawking these on my social media feed and nothing is ever as good as they say it is. This actually comes pretty close! Pros: * Smoothest shave I have ever had in my life. * Cheap replacement blades. (make sure to pick up a blade bank! Please don't make your local trash collectors worry about random razor blades!) * Daily shaving without irritation. My shave has actually gotten better from shaving daily. No waiting for the hair to grow enough for the razer to be effective without causing problems. * Takes about 5 minutes to shave my entire head and clean up the neckline of my beard. * No plastic waste beyond potential blade packaging. * Depending on your area, there may be recycling available for used blades. Good to know: * You must use some sort of cream. I tried regular shaving cream, but I wasn't very happy with it. I have been using normal conditioner and its working great. * Decent learning curve. The first time I tried using this razor, it took me an hour to shave my head and neckline. It really is all about keeping the right the angle. * Do not use any sort of pressure. The weight of the razor is enough. Any more pressure and you will get nicks. * Use an after shave. I use some witch hazel, let it dry while I brush my teeth, and then normal lotion. I have not tried grocery store aftershave, but I'm guessing that it would be like the shaving cream. If you want it to actually work, you are going to have to pay for it. Witch hazel and lotion are a lot cheaper and quite effective. :) * I would recommend a stand or holder of some sort. While laying the razer on its side won't damage the razer, its still an unprotected blade. I like hanging my razer on the mirror next to my toothbrush, but I'm having a hard time finding a hook that is big enough for the razer head. Cons: * Learning curve. Like I said above, it took me an hour to shave the first time I tried. Its been about a week and a half and I've gotten it down to 5 minutes, but I still get small nicks if I go too fast or don't rinse my blade often enough. The witch hazel and lotion help enough that by the time I'm finished with my morning routine you can't tell. * Frequent blade replacement. I change my blade every other day. I shave my whole head so you might be able to get away with an extra day if you are shaving less area or finer hair, but expect to replace the blades very frequently. A dull blade will make nicks much more likely. * Start cost. You have to buy the razer, the blades, the stand, the pre and post shave balms etc. It can be expensive, especially if you don't know you are going to love it. This razer comes with 5 blades, so you can at least try it before ordering a big box of blades. * Harder to travel. This razer offers a great shave, but it also requires more products that a plastic razer. It's not difficult to travel with, but it does take up a little more space. All together, I love this razer! I definitely would recommend it to most people! The only exception is that I don't think it would be good for very delicate skin with lots of folds and curves such as the groin. You could probably figure it out, but that learning curve would make it difficult! I didn't add a picture because the product looks exactly like what is shown it the listing. :)

I love the environmentally conscious aspect of this razor, it’s easy to change the blade and the rose gold color is really pretty, I find it gives an even and close shave. That being said I find it does create some cuts and a bit of skin irritation, I have extremely sensitive skin however, so if you don’t have that issue this would probably be a great option for you.

Ill start this review off by saying I've never used a safety razor before so I dont have a frame of reference for how this compares to other safety razors but compared to Gillette disposables there's truly no comparison. This razor beats Gillette in every metric i can think of. It glides over my skin like butter even after a week of no shave and no trim, gets the closest shave I've ever had and no nicks. The product is very well made and feels sturdy in the hand and easy to assemble without instructions. The cherry on top is that I see saving a ton of money on new razors and having much lest trash waste to be dumped into the ocean. This is a game changer for me and ill never go back to disposable razors if you haven't tried it I highly recommend.

Avevo già acquistato altri prodotti di questa marca e anche con questo mi sono trovata benissimo. Fin dal primo utilizzo nessun problema e mai nemmeno un taglietto. Lo uso essenzialmente per le ascelle e per un ritocco veloce alle gambe ogni tanto quando non ho tempo di usare l'epilatore elettrico quindi con la ricarica da 60 lamette probabilmente starò a posto per un decennio quindi anche un super risparmio!
