Fantastic book! EXCELLENT series. Highly recommended read!
I was really sad to see this series come to a close, and would LOVE if the author decided to make a "... 2 years down the road" sort of sequel to see how the survivors were fairing and how many changes had come about.I was hooked right away from the start and I leapt into each subsequent books in the series right away--- I had to know what was going to happen next! While some people are whining about the protagonist, I have to sit back and smirk because honestly, no one knows how anyone will react in such a situation, and to play know-it-all and cry that the book sucked because they "know better" is ever farther-fetched than the likelihood of events in this book. I have met several agoraphobics and mysophobics and honestly, to see one as protagonist is actually quite interesting and fun. Then there are the whiners complaining about the typos. HELLO! This is an indie author, not Stephen King, who has at his fingertips an entire well-paid staff of editors and proofreaders. Rather than whine about something so trivial, contact the Indie author and OFFER YOUR SERVICES FOR FREE! I have done this in the past and made some great author friends along the way. But I'll tell you a secret -- I found a typo even in a Stephen King novel. So don't pay the whiners any mind. This is a great book! The entire series is just a lot of fun and scary all in one huge mix.

Three Great Books
Without a doubt, each book in the series was better than the previous. As you got to know the characters, their struggles before and after the pandemic and how their past shaped their outlook on the future, you couldn't help but want to see the main characters survive the many obstacles they faced. I would like to believe that the vast majority of people in this country would look out to help their neighbors and try to maintain some semblance of law and order but truthfully, I think Jack Hunt is far closer to the truth than most of us might believe. There is room for another sequel but I thought the third book came to a good place to conclude the series. Their lives had all changed as events changed them but they got through with hope. A hope for a better future. Highly recommend the series.

I don’t think I could’ve put this book down
Even if I wanted to take a break, I couldn’t. This series as well as the other I’ve blown through have been incredible. Honestly I’m thankful I stumbled upon his books because he’s become a favorite! I will read everything he publishes. This series was amazing, the depth of the characters and the development throughout each book... fantastic. I never like when authors try to build a story around shallow character development, the books ALWAYS fall flat. Jack Hunt does a FANTASTIC job of building incredible stories around incredibly well developed characters. He has a gift and I’m thankful that I’ve come across his writing. Thank you.

Finished this series in a couple of days, only one question…
I’ve read several of Jack Hunt’s book series and I have liked them all. The only thing that bothered me about this series is at the end when Kate made it home, she had to be infected with the virus. There is no way she couldn’t have been…but she goes straight into the arms of her family! HELLO…she is an epidemiologist with the CDC. I wish Mr Hunt could have explained that a little better!!

Good story
This book was well written, plotted and edited. It moved quickly and with a few exceptions of stupid choices and decisions made by some characters that produced some eye-rolling it was one of a few good end of the world series.

Outstanding
I read all three books and thoroughly enjoyed them. Except for a few grammatical errors the reading was easy and enjoyable. I became immersed in the characters and felt like I was living there trials and tribulations. I was even to point that if someone coughed behind me I was worried that they may be infected.

A TRILOGY WELL WORTH READING
I chose this rating because it was a very interesting and we'll written story. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading Post-Apocalyptic stories.

Still a good train read just could have done more with it ...
I was a bit dissapointed in this as the final book in the series, I thought the author continued the themes of the second book too much and some of it got a bit ridiculous. Felt the author could have rather expanded on the more interesting themes of community development & rebuilding post the 2nd book's action themes. Still a good train read just could have done more with it given the first 2 books.

So sad its over!
Aww it's finished! Read this book so fast. Loved it, I felt this one was easier to read (not that the first 2 were not, but there was no need for any character intros etc) just straight to the point and an excellent read.

All in all a great ending to a great series
Yeah sure things were a little far fetched in places but it didn't distract from the story as a whole. All in all a great ending to a great series.
