First, just going to point out that the box itself says "48 challenges" but there are in fact 60. I wasn't paying attention to the challenge count when I purchased the game, but when I received it, I thought 48 challenges was pretty low for Smart Games. Then I flipped through the challenge booklet and saw that it actually comes with 60 challenges like the Amazon description says.Now to the game itself-this game is similar to other logical deduction games like Chocolate Fix. The theme of this version is quite clever, and the presentation of clues makes this version a little more challenging, which is a positive for me.The product quality is also excellent. I love that the game comes with its own storage (plastic cover snaps to the grid to enclose game pieces and challenges). There is a lot of empty space in the game box, so you can recycle it and still have the plastic storage tray to keep everything together (plus it's easy to stack).Highly recommend!

60 challenges that get increasing more difficult as you go. Each challenge in the puzzle booklet will show you colors for the five salamanders and frogs. Frogs and salamanders may also show a long tongue and a dragonfly at the end (image 2 below). In this case, a colored dragonfly must be next to that animal, oriented so the animal is facing it. Animals in the challenge that have an X next to them can be placed on the board facing in any direction EXCEPT looking toward a dragonfly. Dragonflies that are not used in the challenge can be placed anywhere on the board, except where a frog or salamander will end up facing them. I love this game. This is a one person game that you can take anywhere. It is small enough to slip in a backpack or purse. The pieces are large enough that they won't get lost! My kids (ages 6 - 17) enjoy playing this game. I love that they aren't competing against each other, they are working together. This is intended to be a one player game, but my older kids love helping my youngest play. It creates a challenge due to the fact that not only do you have to pay attention to the directions the animals are facing, but you also have to rotate the base to make sure the colors are in the right order as well. We highly reccommend this game!

This game made my children work together towards a common goal. It even posed a challenge to us as adults! It really got us all thinking on the best way to solve the puzzle and was very fun. Great game!

My kids love this logic game. The game is beautiful to look at and the packaging is perfect for easy storage.
