Exactly as described. Was cheaper than a rebuild kit and a lot less work

I can't say how well it will work long-term, but unlike some others that leaked the minute gasoline was poured in the tank, this one hasn't leaked yet. It's a bolt-on replacement for the petcock on my XS650 Yamaha but requires that the vacuum fittings on the bike be plugged.

Fits well on my 79 xs650 this doesn't have the vacuum port but it has worked well for me

I submitted a complaint. Never got a responsed from the seller or Amazon. The valve leaks gasoline on your fingers every ttim you move it from On to Off or Reserve to Off. Translated every time you use the petcock. So bad product, no warranty and no Amazon response. Do not buy this part!!

I liked it because it fit my 25 year old Yamaha with 46mm screw width.

I would pass on this item, it is of poor quality. On assembly one of the 90~ spigots broke off, fortunately it came with two of them and I was able to remove the broken off piece. Also there is no way to 'lock' the spigots in place you must use a stiff sealer of some sort and 'hope' it will not leak. Also there is no way to get the spigots to be in the same place as the original petcocks - the spigots are higher up close to the tank making installing fuel lines difficult.

Product was as good or better than the original petcock on my classic custom bike. It was shipped quickly. Couldn't expect more.
