I’ve been using this plug-in in my living room and hallway, and it does a good job keeping things from smelling stale. It looks nice and seems sturdy. THe size is a little bigger than expected, but it's not a big deal. The scent calms me the moment I come home and go around the house. The Gain scent is pretty strong at first, so I keep it on the lower setting, but it settles into a nice, clean smell after a while. Setup was simple, just pop in the refill and plug it in. ONe thing is that it doesn't plug in super nice, and kind of wiggles in my house outelts. But Overall, it’s convenient and works as expected.

I have not had this (with the Gain fragrance) for long enough to rate how long the fragrance remains before needing to be replaced. If the fragrance were to "die" tomorrow I might drop the rating back to a four star but, to date this is a fiver. Like many cat owners with a litter box in the home, I was looking for something to help with the odor besides what is in the litter itself (depending on what kind you use). There's a wall outlet within a foot of our litter box and that's where I plugged this in. The room is of a fairly good size, (I'd say medium size), has a higher ceiling (in much of it) and I was concerned that the fragrance emitted might not be sufficient in strength and not radiate far from the source. There are three fragrance strength settings (low, medium, and high.) the middle and top settings were so strong I set it on low. I'm guessing this will extend the life of the fragrance as well. The fragrance is noticeable as you start to ascend the stairs nearby, the fragrance wafting out several feet in every direction. At first, I wondered if the low setting was too potent, but I quickly grew accustomed to the (not unpleasant) "Gain" smell. I no longer notice it .... except to notice it does a good job of masking the litter box smell(s). 90% of the time I think it does a great job. There will always be those occasional exceptions when a really stinky poop smell isn't completely covered, especially if your cat doesn't do a good job of covering it, or if the feces remains in the box for a considerable time. That degree of efficiency (90%) is sufficient for me. My wife and I are retired, home a great deal. I clean the box a minimum of four times a day. It only takes me approx. 30 seconds each time on average. I only have one cat, a kitten. If your cat litter box can't be emptied that often it's possible you'll find it struggles with strong, unpleasant odors (human or beast), but if it's on low you can bump up its potency up. If you just want it to maintain the fragrance ambiance in any other type of room, and there are no strong odors to contend with, it should work just fine, even in larger rooms (given the 3 levels of potency). If you are using it for a bathroom, if the room is pretty small, this may be overwhelming, even on the lowest setting. It also might depend on the fragrance you are using. Like the cat box, it's not going to completely hide the strongest odors, but it will diminish the worst of it and possibly even cause extremely potent odors to disappear faster. (Speculation.) Two thumbs up.

I also appreciate that it’s low maintenance and easy to use to plug it in. I just unforgettable hustle over all the freeze plug-in. Air freshener is a must have for anyone who wants your home to smell clean inviting 24 seven it’s powerful, long lasting and we made a difference I highly recommend.

great smell for a great price, works very well, have set on middle setting and room stays super fresh and last forever, im kidding about a month then time to refill.
