Pleasantly surprised with this forehead thermometer. Our old under the tounge thermometer died on us and going from that to this its a world of difference. Having an instant reading is amazing, especially with 3 young kids. The thermometer has a light up display, easy to read numbers and even memory where you can view previous readings. The end of the thermometer pops off and turns in to an ear thermometer which is equally fast but slightly less convenient than the forehead. The thermometer comes with a soft cloth case with drawstrings and even included the 2 AAA batteries needed to function.

I would give this more stars if I could. Very easy to use. It has a silent mode and a backlight that’s easy to read at night.I gave this to my son and his wife for their baby shower. My son says this thermometer is used every day. Great and well-made product. Works very well and amazingly fast at taking your temperature. Completely non-invasive! You just take the thermometer, place it gently on your forehead or slightly in your ear, and it gives you your temperature in literally less than 1 second! No more invasive temperature-taking or having to wait for the thermometer to read the correct temperature. Works great for adults as well! Packaging was well made and sturdy. Super happy with this product!

I really want to like this product, and I picked it based on recent reviews. But I'm not sure if it's what I was expecting. First, the "scan" button has the universal power symbol on it, unlike the photos here. That's odd. Also, I can't hear the beeps whether it is muted or not. Minor or major gripes? The readings seem to be in the ballpark, but I don't have another accurate thermometer to compare it to. The readings are fast, though -- points in its favor. Still, I'm not sure this is what it was advertised to be.Edit -- customer service was quick to address my concerns, so I have adjusted my rating accordingly. Seems to be a good buy overall for the price.

This is my first infared thermometer. I like how fast it can tell me whether I am having a fever or not by simply sliding it through my forehead. However, according to the operating manual, the forehead temperature may not be that accurate but I don’t care. All I want to know is fever or not (more like a yes/no question). If you care about the accuracy of the temperature, then this item may not be your best choice. Also, I don’t think that I will use the ear mode since there is no other clean caps in the package to replace. But with the forehead mode, I can get what I want in secs for sure.

I must have 5 or 6 stick thermometers somewhere in my house. Every time I needed one, they were nowhere to be found. I had been thinking about a Digital Forehead and Ear Thermometer for some time. When I made up my mind to order one, it came down to three models and I chose the Vigorun and I am glad I did.They designed it with the consumer in mind, it's so easy to use with all the latest technology. I am very happy and you will be too.

Pros: I bought this as a gift for my niece. Unfortunately-coincidentally she was sick for the last 2 days. Checking her temp and making sure that she did not have a fever was so relaxing. Before we were using regular armpit and under the tongue thermometers but they are really annoying for the babies and the children. This is very affordable and very easy to use. It is a whole item without tiny parts so really comfortable to use. I liked the automatic shutoff function to preserve the battery.Cons; I have limited sources for accuracy but when I checked on myself with this device and the regular armpit thermometer they give very similar results. I will update you guys if I see a missing point.

Coincidentally my kid ran a fever soon after receiving this thermometer. It is very easy to use, running along the hairline for the forehead scan or inserting into the ear for the ear method. I like this flexibility as I can choose according to the situation. Either way, the measurements seem accurate. I monitored my child's fever until it broke. Good purchase!
