These are great stitch markers. I use them for all kinds of things besides working patterns. I put one at the end of each set of 10 rows. If I am making a bedspread, I mark every 25th stitch, so if my count gets off I can quickly find the area of the mistake. I use them like a safety pin to attach information if I am putting away a project and don't plan to finish it right away. If I want to try on a sweater before I sew side seams, I pin pieces together. NEVER use safety pins in your work. If you have ever gotten wool tangled in the circle at the bottom of the pin and ended up ruining a piece of yarn in a finished project, you would not use safety pins for anything near yarn, either. These are a terrific size, and its great to have plenty of them.

The stitch markers are fine, but I do not like them as well as others I have made of plastic. These are metal and have very sharp points. I used them with my crochet projects and they can get snagged easily. Do be careful, because you can easily accidentally stick yourself. Also, they are small so best to keep them put away if you have small children.

Perfect size for keeping row count. Easy to use and they fasten securely.

I bought these to use as stitch markers for my knitting. They work great as sliding stitch markers (for up to about 7mm/US10.75), and they also work great as locking stitch markers. And if you need to use multipe in a project that you want to be able to tell apart, try adding some small beads.

I knit - a lot - and sometimes get frustrated working around the thickness of plastic stitch markers, but need to be able to open, close and otherwise move them from spot to spot. These little safety pins are perfect, so thin they won't distort complicated stitchwork, and easy to open and close - just like any tiny safety pin. Came with a very sturdy little box that closes securely, too. I ordered the bright gold color and it shows up beautifully. Good product, excellent seller.

I love that there are so many markers of one color. This means I don't have a painter's pallet of colors for the same thing. I can use different colors to mark specific places in my project. Being metal they don't break the 2nd time I use them like plastic markers. Opening means I can move them at any point in my knitting also. I am going to these markers for all my projects.
