I really loved the way this item looked on the amazon website! It was delivered timely; packaging fine, everything in packages and labeled. Directions were not put together properly so I had to redo the pages! Directions were clear and otherwise easy to read! However, because they werent in proper order originally I missed a step and noticed it once the cabinet was put together 😤The cabinet handles were plastic, some of the wood crumbled when putting together! I just wouldn’t ever buy this again and I’m mad at the money I spent because it was a waste of time and product didn’t assemble well. Not pleased.

Directions weren't very good. The "wood " material is VERY CHEAP & the handles are plastic! The doors by my own mistake are upside down,but with better directions that wouldn't have happened. The only thing I did like is the color. I bought one from Closetmaid first & love it ,much better quality product,they even had a round device to put over the screws on the outside to make it look much higher quality! I would definitely not recommend this product , but would recommend Closetmaid!

This unit cannot be assembled so that the doors open the opposite way. I bought these to use as nightstands to conceal random stuff because I hate visual clutter. The problem is that the doors naturally open “left to right” and cannot be installed the opposite way. That works fine when placed on the the right side of the bed but does not work well at all for the left side of the bed. The door opens the wrong way. I ended up putting the unit upside down in the end, which left unfinished pieces exposed on top that I had to cover with cheap contact paper. Plus the magnets on the “roof” on the inner shelves are now on the “floor, along with the unfinished side of the wood. Yes, it’s only on the inside (not visible from the outside) but it’s not an ideal solution at all. The door now drags a bit when opening and closing because it’s not meant to be used this way.If I had realized the door could not be installed on either side, I never would have bought them. I guess I should have just gone to ikea but I was trying to color match some other items in the room (which turned out to be an epic fail in the end, as well). I will keep these for the next two years until I move but they are definitely not coming with me. Also, the corners seem really sharp. I might actually file them down just a tiny bit for safety.Also- I ordered two and initially only one arrived. Amazon offered a replacement or refund for the missing item. I took the replacement and they shipped out a new one right away, but in hindsight I should have just taken the refund and unloaded the other.

So, all I needed was something to store all of my aquarium goodies nicely as underneath the aquarium was getting very crowded and hard to find anything. After doing some research and of course not looking for something extravagant I decided on this. I wanted something that would not hide the side of the Phish tank so I chose the three stack instead of the four. The top drawer holds all of my Phish food, the middle drawer holds all of my chemicals, and the bottom drawer holds a lot of my aquarium decor. It took me 25 minutes to set it up, but if you put a hex tip on a drill you can probably do it in 10. It was very easy to assemble. Understand that this is not a top-notch quality $200 dresser by any means, it is just something to store stuff in. I do not suggest buying this for any kind of heavy use or for kids as it will not last. But for me, an adult who takes care of his belongings this is just perfect.

This item was packaged very well. I am disabled and 61, and I somehow managed to put this together. I am sure I would have zipped through it if I was healthy. Everything lined up perfectly and all parts were included. This will make it easier to store my laundry supplies. I would purchase again. The door pulls are plastic but I may eventually put metal ones on. Thick particle board but still looks nice. Just follow instructions and photos exactly.

So. I'm a man in my mid forties. I've put together a LOT of press-board furniture - like, a LOT. And this, hands down, is the best of the lot. Every hole was drilled true and matched properly. The backs of the cabinet slid neatly into grooves instead of needing to be tacked on with tiny nails. The screws were robust and easy to work with. The doors - a little care is necessary with hanging to doors, but the problem was easy to fix, because the holes were drilled properly.It's still press-board. It still uses Allen bolts and Allen keys, and Phillips screws. I long for the day that I get a piece of cheap press-board furniture equipped with Robertson screws throughout, complete with a nifty Robertson screwdriver - but, we can't have everything, and until then, this is the best press-board furniture I've ever had to assemble. Will order Hodedah products again.

So overall it’s not a bad buy BUT one of my packages didn’t have instructions soooo I was lucky I bought 2. Also the instructions weren’t super clear. I also feel like you need a power drill because a regular philips head doesn’t cut through the finish well for the holes that aren’t pre-made for the hinges or the magnet. I actually haven’t even put them in yet for this reason. Also, some of the edges were already peeling in paint. It will probably need a finishing coat to ensure it doesn’t keep peeling. Again, for the price it’s not terrible but I have concerns about how long these will hold up... I’ll keep you updated I guess.

Great piece of furniture for under $50. It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy, & gets the job done. I only just got it so unless it breaks down on me in the next few weeks I believe this to be a 5 star product for its value. FYI those are my size 12 sneakers in the picture for reference.

I dont know why people complain about this item! Its a great shelf at a good price. It came with instructions and an Allen key. I did need a screwdriver for the doors, however it does say not to use power tools. It says you need a hammer for the bottom pieces, but I just pushed them in. Great shelf. Perfect for what I need. I would order again.

I'm using it for camera storage and bought magnetic child proof locks for the doors.meets my needs.

Super nice product. Easy to put together. Nice and small but very spacious inside. Loved it so much I bought another.
