They're attractive and sharp, and work well. Easy to keep sharp since they are not serrated.

incredible edge
Very sharp hardened steel. Holds an edge well. Cuts through steak like it was butter. Heavy blade that won't bend or skid sideways. Best steak knives I've ever seen. Also useful for cutting vegetables, boning chicken. Great for slicing tomato. Non serrated so can be sharpened when needed though I haven't needed to yet.

Great Knife set
These are very good quality. They have nice weight and are very sharp. I have worked as a chef and these are some of the best knives I have used. Right out of the box with no sharpening needed. Very nice looking.

These knives are made in China
Hat being said, they seem to be great knives. I ordered them for my wife who is starting to suffer from arthritis in her hands because it said the handles were ergonomic and comfortable. They are everything they claim to be, super sharp and very comfortable to hold and use. I am a chef and even though I am trying to get anew actual set of Japanese chefs knives I would be proud to have these knives as a part of my tools. I took off a star only because they showed as having a bunka in the set but it does not. If you are looking to purchase, I would definitely recommend. My wife absolutely loves the way they feel when using, and how sharp they are and have remained to be so far even after several days of usage in preparing food for some of our shut in elderly from church that can't get out with this "rona" virus crap.
