Worth the price!
Happy customer! Paid $36 with tax (Free shipping) for my ukulele! And I received the package early than I expected. ☺️☺️BUT,I wanna share my short story about my Ukulele;.What I really like the most was the "Mahogany" one but it was like $37 (Tax not included). So I made the decision to choose the "Natural" one instead, because the natural was like $33 (I saved $4) Lol.So the day has come! I received my packaged and when I opened it, I was like "😲" I received the "Mahogany"!! Instead of the "Natural"And I'm so happy about it!! Thank you!.But, I wonder why it's expensive now🤔

Good for beginners, needs new strings
Looks greats (black finish) and sounded beautiful once I put new strings on it. I could not get the 1st string tuned even close to A. It broke around E#, and I went slowly over the course of two days to even be able to give it time to stretch between knob turns. I encountered similar problems with the 4th string reaching high G. Better quality strings weren't too expensive and made a huge difference. I'm a beginner with a ukulele but have done acoustic guitar before - I found this instrument to be easy to work with andgood for beginners. Keep in mind that the strings need time to settle in before being able to keep tuned for longer periods of time. Ukulele strings are notorious for taking awhile to stay tuned. A new string will be dramatically out of tune by the time you've tuned the rest, especially for the first couple of days. I promise it's the process and not a problem with the ukulele itself.

Nice color, nicely made and not a toy! Fair price & great sound.
Granddaughter wanted blue guitar who is 4 years old. We decided on this blue ukulele for it fits her perfectly. She’s a beginner and loves the blue color. I also bought 4 more for the other grandchildren in different colors. I absolutely recommend DONNER UKE for its sound & color and it comes with tuner, extra strings, picks, etc. (a kit) Everything you need to get started. I also purchased a beginner UKE DVD and book that explains the notes, where to place your fingers to create each note. that we will need to get started and play for a long time. There is also youtube that will show you. I’m learning to play as well and this fit is good for me too. Easy to carry around with you. Beginner Uke and not a toy. We are proud to begin on this UKE and we will be using this one for many years to come. It seems all the grandchildren love theirs and now want to get together with their cousins to practice. I bought different colors for 3 -10 years old. The 2 different browns are nice too.Thank you for the nice Ukelele DONNER

Great for beginners and more!
This thing is pretty good. I was surprised that it held its tuning well and its sound is pretty decent. Aesthetically speaking, I opted for the black, and as a beginner ukulele it is mostly what you’d expect (looks-wise). The headstock has the name painted on and the black paint is good. My favorite thing is the tiki strap. How cool is that? The tuner threw me through a loop at first b/c I didn’t read the instructions to see you press the power button a few times to set it to “U” for Ukulele. That made it much easier to tune.It also comes with some standard nylon strings, a cleaning cloth, and a sack. This is not a gig bag but an actual tie-string sack. I’d rather pay a few bucks more for one with a gig bag, but that’s just me, and they probably knew this was beginner for most people. I’m betting with some fluorocarbon strings it might sound even better, but it still has a pretty good sound. It sounds and plays well, the frets were not sharp/sticking out, it’s smooth, and it has decent tuning machines. I’m hoping it’s durable since it’s a gift for a kid, but overall, I’d recommend it.

5 stars!
My 13 year old had some experiences playing a uke in school, and ever since he has been asking for own of his own. He absolutely loves this one, and his band teacher was able to tune it easily for him. No complaints, sounds nice, great price, 5 stars!

Great for a beginner
I picked this up for my sister after she expressed interest in my ukulele. I wanted to get her one of decent quality but not too expensive as she's just starting off.I was pleased with the overall quality of this one. The finish is a nice lighter wood and feels quite nice to hold. The frets and the strings included are fine and allow me to play just as I would on any other ukulele. The included accessories are also a nice touch as having a bag to throw it in keeps the dust off and the finish nice.I'd say my main concern is I wanted a uke that would be good enough quality to not hinder anyone trying to learn to play. This is not the same as the $20 ukulele you'd get at a toy store, this one is real and can be used to learn to play. Just make sure you keep the strings in tune!

A good beginner
This is a great little Uke! I bought it so that I could take it to work with me to practice on during down times, and if it gets trashed I am not out of a whole lot of money. I didn't want to wreck my concert banjolele at work, I REALLY like that rig!Now the 'strap/ cord' they send out with this product is almost worthless, it barely clears my head and if I have a cap on, now way! I tried to use it as a traditional j-hook guitar strap, but it was too high for me. Providence showed me an alternate arrangement (see photos.) Now, I am sure I am not the first numbskull who's discovered this, but it works for me, (I don't feel like I'm strumming my nips anymore) and I can get a fuller strum. It stays clear of the strings and does not hinder playing.I wasn't quite sure what to think about a saprano, kinda dinky for my frame, but this adjustment made a WORLD of difference! I enjoy playing it now. This is a great set up for a noobie, or someone who just wants a knock around instrument to throw in the camp bag.I hope this helps.Cheers!PS, the star is a sticker I threw on... And disregard the 2nd pic, it DOES interfere with the A string. Picture 3's configuration, does not.

Gorgeous soprano ukelele, keeps its tune when others fail 😊👍🏻
The media could not be loaded. Update: in my ukulele circle, people had ordered hurricanes and other types of Ukes, mine kept its tune for the whole time and no one else’s did!!!! It was the superstar!!!! The only one that never needed a retuning even once!! I was so happy I went with this choice 💕😊👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I ordered this for a ukelele class and it looks beautiful and it is super easy to learn on! I haven't played since I was in grade 4-6, but it comes with a little card of chords and it's really easy to play on! It's much easier to learn than guitar and the tuner that it comes with makes it easy to tune.It would have been handy if it would have come with a guide to tuning as well, but a quick google search told me the standard tuning and I was tuned up and ready to play my first song within about fifteen minutes of unpacking it! It has a nice sound and I was worried that the black would pick up fingerprints and smudges, but, yay, it doesn't!It comes with a neck strap, case, three picks and replacement strings. Everything is pretty basic, the case is really just a bag, but it does the job. I'll probably end up getting some sort of padding or a padded case for it one day because I worry about it not having enough protection in this case, especially since I plan on taking it out in the winter and changes in weather can be really hard on instruments and I REALLY like this little uke, so I want to treat it right! It holds its tuning after being tossed around a bit in the bag and I was completely impressed by that.It doesn't come with music to play, but I found a lot of free songs online. I will probably get a book of songs too. It might be a good idea when you order to get a book of music at the same time so you can really dive in. BUT there are a lot of online teachers and tons of material for free. This is an awesome price for a really good musical instrument. It's got a loud sound to it, but not overpowering, it can be practiced in smaller places without being aggravating or played acoustically in a larger setting if you want to hit the strings a bit harder.A few notes about the tuner: the tuner is very easy to use, the only trick to it is knowing if you are really above or below the note you’re trying to get to. This is experience related and if you can’t seem to get to where you want to get to, turn the tuning peg the other way. The big display and the easy to see notes makd everyone want to use this tuner over more complex tuners. It’s straightforward and simple to use. Just don’t get turned around when tuning and you’ll be fine !
