Best light for your hardhat
Ok, so I'm not a miner, don't work underground, don't get lost in vast caves of exploration for fun. Nope Just your average construction guy. (construction demolition)Use to put those cheap AAA battery jogging bands around my hardhat to use light during work. You see many other trades do the same. Electricians, utility people, plumbers, HVAC people, etc.I myself used that method. But I hated constantly replacing batteries. After a few hours, the light dimmed down a bit. But my worst problems were when at times the jogging light would sometimes "slip" off the hard hat and I'd just lost a 15 buck light. Always this seemed to happen and sometimes I'd find it laying around, and sometimes I would have to buy another one.So I thought about this situation and realized "why not go the professional route and wear what miners wear?" Miners wear lights that are made to last, tough and rugged, built internally so it doesn't cause an explosion, and have some form of charging capability. So I ended up buying a "JSP fulled brimmed mining hard hat on Amazon. (It had a clip that fit most of the worlds mining lights) and a "Kohree-Cordless-,mining Headlight" also on here on Amazon.I used that light for nearly a year. It worked good and guys at work were amazed at how much longer it lasted. Only complaint was that it just "stuck out" way to much and sometimes the screws or clip would unloosen and seem to jiggle around a bit.So after some reading and saving my money for a more better one. I ended up buying this one. "Wisdom Model 3A Cordless Hard Hat Mine Light Non-MSHA Certified".And let me tell you, what a tremendous difference a well made light can do for you! This model is solid, the clip that connects to the hardhat is solid and doesn't jiggle around, Its smaller in size then my last miners light and doesn't seem to "stick out" or "protrude" as much as the "Kohree light". This light is much brighter than the Kohree version, and its supposedly water proof to like 15 meters and from watching videos on Youtube, you can apparently run over it with a car and it will supposedly still work. (not that I'm gonna spend 135 bucks only to run it over with my car mind you) This alone will tell you just how rugged the light is.Not to mention all the other guys will eyeball and awe at what your wearing and be amazed at how long your light outlasts theirs. It doesn't dim when nearing the end of its charge and its coded to flicker 3 times to tell you its near its end. Also, since Im not a miner, I didn't need it to be MSHA certified as this is perfect for what I need. All I can say is that if you spend money on your boots to be rugged and last a long while, or buy decent tools that don't break down and you need them to last. Then this light is for you. Its meant to last and super rugged, and meant to do its job. It hasn't failed me at all and quite glad I took a leap and spent the money for it.

Works great
My husband uses it for work drilling underground. He likes how light it is and how fast it charges.
