Magic Plastics 2 in. Plastic Quiet Check Valve

I bought this due to a loud water hammer noise on my existing check valve assembly for my sump pump. Locally at all hardware stores they only had 1.25" and 1.5" check valve assemblies for sump pumps, I have a large basement (ranch style home) and needed a 2". Swapped it out and I can hear the sump pump run and no more banging! Keeps the baby sleeping at night.

After putting up with a clunking check valve I switched it out for this one. It's almost silent in operation. I should have bought this years ago!

Had a loud 'bang' every time our ejection pump shut off. Installed one of these- QUIET for the first time in years !I can hear the pump run when right beside the pit, then NOTHING as it shuts off and the valve closes. Get One.

Works great made a huge difference compared to the one I got from Home Depot no more noise from the pipes banging

The reduction in noise is amazing compared to the valve I replaced. I definitely don't miss the very loud and violent operation of the valve that was replaced.

A number 1. Wish I had it sooner

Had a lot of water hammer from our traditional check valve. It would rattle the whole house. I installed this valve easily and now you can't even hear it. I was skeptical. It's really awesome!
