It’s a birthday gift for my great grandson. It’s a Duncan and they’re pretty good. Might last with a rambunctious 8-year old.

I love the yo-yo and its design. I played with it all day and night. but broke after a month. I feel like the yo-yo should’ve been made with longer sleep time. It feels firm in the palm of your hand. And it is very easy to carry around. If only it came with an extra string and a bearing. Overall it’s pretty simple to use. I’d recommend it to anyone that is a beginner.

My son has been seeing yoyos on YouTube so we decided to get him one. He loves it!

I had just bought a cheap yo-yo at the store and had troubles with it. After a few releases, it would start to wobble and not come back up and I would have to rewind the string. So I looked up the best yo-yo I could get and in the entire list, this one was on average almost 3 points out of 10 better than all the rest, so I bought it. I saw the description that it "automatically returns to your hand" and was skeptical and not really happy with that idea, like there was some mechanism making it come back and it would complicate things. When I tried the yo-yo out, I tested this. Without moving my hand, the yo-yo returned just a little more than half the string length. Sometimes when I tugged a little, it felt like it zipped right back to my hand, but just like with a yo-yo that was $10 less than this one, after about 5 or 6 releases, it would wobble and not come back up all the way and I would have to wind it again.If this was not advertised as the best I could get and if there wasn't a description claiming that this yo-yo was easier to use than others, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Yes, it feels good in my hand and the quality seems good, but unless I'm somehow using this thing wrong, it does not seem better than something I could get for under $2 at any toy store.

Definately a great beginners yo-yo. It's returns easily and it only took a few times to get it to sleep for a trick.
