Beautiful.
You wanna know what my first thought when I finished the last sentence was? It was “she’s beautiful.” I was referring to Keeland and Ward together. I am in absolute awe of their work and I knew, that at 1 am in the morning, I could get a good nights rest tonight because I read a beautiful book. Their work never cease to amaze me and you have to be a fool to say otherwise. Thank you<3

Not your typical story
Good book. Kept my interest. Not the same old billionaire, boss, or guy next door love story. Definitely recommend for a change of pace.

A perfect story!
Hazel Appleton was suppose to go on her honeymoon to Vail, CO but when her fiance calls off the wedding, she decides to go on the non-refundable trip by herself anyways. After spending a few days there, Hazel decides to fly back home but instead gets snowed in. Trying to find a hotel, Hazel ends up at a hotel where she's hoping and waiting for a room when she sees a guy, Matteo Duncan, acting suspicious. She quickly realizes that he is eavesdropping on the hotel staff's conversations. When all of a sudden she realizes that this gorgeous man is pretending to be someone else in order to get a room, she jumps up and plays along pretending to be his sister since the reservation is for two. Thus starts the adventures of Milo and Maddie Hooker.Hazel and Matteo both decide to not use their real names and just go by Milo and Maddie. Vail just happens to be the town that Milo grew up in so he spends the next few days while they are snowed in showing her around town and finding fun and interesting things to do. When there time is up, neither of them want to leave the other....the are having too much fun! Instead they decide to rent a car and spend the next few weeks driving across the US to get to the east coast where they both need to go.As Maddie and Milo continue on their adventure, real feelings start to get in the way. Instead of acting on them, they decide to meet up in a three months and if the feelings are still there, then they will act on them. Of course real life gets in the way in a BIG shocking way and Hazel is going to have to dig deep down to see what she really wants for her happy ending.I just freaking LOVED this story! I could not put it down and basically read it in 24 hours! I just adored Hazel and Matteo. They were both so fun and free spirited together. I loved every minute of their journey and I will never look at pineapples the same way again! ;) I cannot say enough wonderful things about the book except read it....you will not regret it!

You can't go wrong with Penelope and Vi. They should always be a 1-click add.
No real spoilers. If you're looking for blazing hot sex, keep moving. If you're expecting blazing hot sex, then you'll miss the point. Because that would have cheapened this book and its meaning.Penelope and Vi are both 1-click authors for me. If they drop it, I download it. Period!I've never been disappointed in a book yet.Maddie and Milo are charming, sweet (in an innocent but not so innocent way). There chemistry is hot but their love is so much more intense.Who couldn't fall for tall, dark, handsome, and music teacher? Who wouldn't want to smile for a wounded photographer?Vi and Penelope take us on an adventure and I loved every minute of it.Favorite thing: I'd like to know where I could order a Milo. He wasn't over the top. He wasn't a millionaire. He wasn't all alpha. He was just a great guy who loved a girl.Least favorite thing: would have liked a little more heat once they come together.Funniest thing: learning about pineapples.Recommendable? Yes. Yes. Yes. Enjoy a thoughtful relationship for a change. Will I re-read/re-listen? Yes. Yes.

Love On Hold
This book is another exciting and intriguing collaboration of Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. It's a delightful slow burn story, told from alternating points of view and in two sections. Our two main characters manage to accidentally meet in a hotel during a snow storm; comically and creatively manage to end up sharing a suite and as free spirits choosing to spent days touring together. And collecting Souvenirs.Attraction and chemistry exists between them almost from their first meeting but there appears to be a conscious decision not to exploit their situation. But why is intimacy and love put on hold? Well, you must get this book and find out for yourself. No spoilers from me.

Two people pretend to be brother and sister
This is a delightful storyline of two people who meet in a hotel lobby pretending to be brother and sister to get two bedrooms for the night in the middle of a white out. The pseudo names Milo and Maddy. The real names Mattoe and Hazel. One has been jilted, one has a broken past. Both are lonely. A lovely light story with morals, attitude, adventurism and love. Matteo is a very handsome patient male who happens to be visiting his parents and Hazel a lady spending her honeymoon on her own, have a chance meeting that leads to an adorable storyline. Well written, flows well, and beautifully described. Believable characters that are interesting, complex and appealing. Well worth 5 stars.

Got to say Loved this read
Sometimes you come across a book you just want to devour but if you do you will also feel a sense of loss at finishing it. This was that book. I can't rate it high enough, loved Matteo and Hazel and how they interacted, didn't see the twist coming. They were awesome together.

One of the best
I've scrolled past this book a thousand times, the cover just didn't do anything for me and yes I know we all shouldn't judge books by their covers but honestly it just didn't interest me. I thought I'd take a chance and read the blurb, and I thought hm okay I'll see where this goes and honestly? I am so glad I did. I loved these characters, the plot, the serial tension, even their friendship! I loved how the writers made sure they built their relationship on friendship and we as an audience got to be a part of that. The ending was a bit boring and predictable but nevertheless it is a brilliant book, definitely worth reading.

Sometimes something different & unexpected is the best
I went in blind & didn’t read the bio, it wouldn’t have stopped me but I decided to be different with this book. What I loved was the lack of ceo or billionaires or anything wealth related. With three characters interwoven and connected in such a way, that I didn’t see coming, I was eager to see how it all played out. It didn’t have sex coming at you like leaves in a tornado either but, that allowed the slow burn to really intensify the heat between the two. Another win from this dynamic writing duo, in my opinion. Ps, it’s a 4 because of Felicity and her moral high ground!
