This is a good quality mixer for the price. It fits my KitchenAid tilt stand mixer perfectly. I wash it by hand and would not recommend putting it in the dishwasher. My original attachment broke and this is a great replacement. I would purchase this again and definitely recommend.

I have a 40-year old KitchenAid K45 Stand Mixer. It has made countless loaves of bread, cakes, brownies and meringues. My experience is that every 4-5 years the whip will break. Either a wire will break loose or it becomes misshapen and scrapes the side or bottom of the bowl. The problem is with the whip, not the height adjustment on the mixer, and I've found that the whip just has to be replaced.This wire whip fits the K45 perfectly and did a perfect job out of the box in creating a sponge for a loaf of rye bread. The price is right, and we'll just have to see if this is any more durable than others that I've purchased.The surprising part of all of this is that the mixer itself just keeps chugging along! KitchenAid Stand Mixers are a true investment and should last you a very long time. Just not the whip attachment!

I purchased this about 6 weeks ago, and have used it 3-4x a week since then. It works well, and it fits the standard kitchenaid tilt mixers with no issues.That said, it is a lighter weight than the kitchenaid brand attachment, and the metal is already starting to look a little worn/water-spotted. It doesn’t drip green/black water off when cleaning like some cheap baking sheets or fake jewelry or anything, but it’s starting to look like it is half the price of the name brand attachment for a reason.I like it, I am happy with my purchase, it’s a good attachment for the price, but with how often I have been cooking from scratch (and anticipate only doing so more in the future) I will probably end up investing in another brand name whisk attachment.

I have a KitchenAid Classic stand mixer and bought this balloon whisk to have an extra to swap between baking and this is clearly an off brand product with poor fit and quality control. This replacement whisk would not detach from my mixer. Had to use pliers, a punch, gouge my mixer and mess up paint to remove this whisk. A $15 cheap replacement messed up my $300 mixer. Spend the extra few bucks and buy a true KitchenAid spare whisk.
