Great gift

I was not prepared for just how much this would mean to our family. I got this book for my father and another for my husband. I wanted them to feel comfortable talking about themselves and sharing stories from their lives which normally they wouldn’t share. I started with easy questions and filled it out for them. By the end I was so overwhelmed with how much they really needed to share and now it is there for others to read. The questions are the perfect guide to hear stories even they had nearly forgotten. It was a very moving gift and I highly recommend this book.

Cute gift idea for the price

I’m giving this 5 stars before I’ve even personally laid eyes on it.I sent it to my aging grandfather for Father’s Day, after losing my dad last year. There are SO many things I wish I’d asked my father- I didn’t want to miss the chance to ask these questions of my grandfather. I was a little worried he might see it as a chore or not grasp the idea of it- but he was SO excited to receive it. He called me straight away and told me he was already making outlines and writing rough drafts for some of his answers- which I thought was beyond sweet and more than I could have hoped for. It’s August now, and he’s still working on it- and letting me know his progress. He says he’s truly enjoyed working on it, and that it gives him “something to do”. I cannot wait to read his finished book!

It’s a great book but sadly as soon as I bought it my papa passed away and never got to see it. Would recommend it though.

Got this for my great grandpa and one for my great grandma. They both are so excited to fill them out!!

I love the book. I got it as a father's day gift for my father in law. Hopefully he likes it also. I will need to get one for my mother in law also.
