Don Francisco Hawaiian Hazelnut Ground Coffee
After enjoying this same brand’s vanilla nut coffee I decided to try the hazelnut variety and like it, as well. Taste is subjective, but the company seems to have a knack for flavoring coffees without the usual unpleasant aftertaste that is common with others I have purchased. Unexpectedly, the hazelnut coffee also has a noticeable coconut flavor which I, and the other adult in residence, thought an excellent addition. The coffee smells great in the can and while brewing. There is no acidic bite or bitterness in the cup – very smooth and rich. As is the case with the majority of flavored coffees, this is a medium roast, and although with my usual coffees I purchase dark, this blend is not at all weak and the flavors of hazelnut, coconut and the coffee itself are well balanced. Impressive for a moderately priced brand.Any leftovers are good for use in iced coffee or frozen in ice cube trays for use in cooling iced coffee without diluting the beverage and the cubes also works well in smoothies. Ground coffee quickly loses freshness once the can is opened, so if I do not plan to consume the full quantity within a week, I will vacuum seal portions for future use. This brand is one I only occasionally find locally, so it is a time-saver to order it here, and the hazelnut flavor is one I will buy again. The can I received has a “best before” date 22 months in future.

Oh Sweet Coffee of Mine!
I ordered the Kona Blend of this brand on a whim to fill my cart for the free shipping, and hooray, I've been matched with my new favorite at-home coffee!!!Delectably smooth, this medium roast packs a perfect punch of heavy coffee flavor, but without Any bitterness! It also arrived deliciously fresh. No skunky grounds here.I've been a dedicated Folgers girl for years, but am glad I went a few bucks higher for this pleasant experiment. That said, the price has gone up $3 since i ordered 2 weeks ago, so I'm probably not going to grab a 2nd batch just yet.

Beware of price fluctuations
Don Francisco's Kona Blend, Medium Roast, Ground Coffee, 100% Arabica - 28 Ounce BagI like this coffee since it is low acid, has good flavor, and *usually* is about $13 for a 28 ounce bag (2020-2022). Price jumped to over $21 a bag in August/September 2022. I was dismayed and dropped it from my list. Found excellent Arabica and low acid coffees elsewhere (Vol*). Now the price of Don's is back to normal, but I may not be back, I don't like shifty pricing or having to re-source items.

Aromatic Kona blend coffee
I have tried several coffee brand for Kona blend. So far, this is the best that I have found. This is a medium roast coffee that preserves the great smell when it is brewed. Kona itself is an aromatic coffee so it does not need even medium dark roasting. I brew it with drip machine using slower dripping rate so the taste and smell will be diffused to perfection.

Great flavor, a bit too mild, but gets me waaaay too buzzed!
This coffee has a great hazelnut and a hint of coconut flavor, but is a little weak....but smooth and nutty. Not acidic at all, but for some reason there must be a TON of caffeine in it, because it has me buzzing like crazy! Bouncing off the walls here! LOL! It also doesn't make me poop as much as most coffee does which is a good thing...look at me Martha Stewart over here! Bwahahaha!!!

Good go to coffee
This coffee is good for the price. It is always fresh when I get it. I usually buy it once a month or so and have it in my rotation of coffees. I usually go for medium roasts, and this one fits into that category. Not sure how much Kona is really in it, but my guess is not much. It is still a flavorful coffee though.
