Joie’s Silicone Microwave Popcorn Popper makes fresh, hot microwave popcorn in about 3 minutes without using any oil. Enjoy quick and delicious healthy snacks with less fat and calories! The Popper makes up to 4-cups of fresh popcorn at once. The silicone liner allows for a perfect measure of kernels every time. The lid keeps kernels contained while they’re cooking. It’s healthier and more economical than buying packaged microwave popcorn. So easy to use. Simply fill the silicone liner with kernels and place it into the bottom of the Popper. Do not overfill. Place the lid on tightly and center the Popping in the microwave. Cook on high for about 3 minutes (1000-watt microwave). Cooking times may vary depending on the wattage and can be adjusted as needed. Do not overcook. Do not use the pre-programmed ‘popcorn’ setting. Remove the lid carefully as steam may be released. Add seasonings if desired to the top of the popped corn, like butter or margarine, salt and other flavorings. Cover the Popper and place it back into the microwave for about 20 seconds. Once done, shake lightly to distribute the seasonings and allow un-popped kernels to settle to the bottom. Make fun and healthy snacks for kids of all ages. Makes clever gifts, too! Made from BPA-free, heat-resistant silicone. It’s easy to use. Complete instructions included. Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.

Top Doesn't Stay On
I bought this in August, 2020 and it worked perfectly until last month when the top no longer would stay on during the popping. It must have stretched over time? I looked at the invoice and I paid $7 for it back in 2020, so ok, buy a new one. But now it's $17... so will look for an alternate that might last a bit longer.

This is a must!
I liked this product because it is just enough popcorn to eat for one person. I cannot eat alot of popcorn due to a stomach issue. This is just the right size. It is fast and soooo good!

New favorite kitchen gadget!
I bought this for our RV but have been using it all winter in our home. It's just the right amount of popcorn for one person and at 1 1/2 minutes in my microwave it's ready to serve without all the packaging, hot steam, and grease of microwave popcorn from a bag. My husband loves it and of course adds some melted butter to his!

Popcorn Individual Microwave Cup Popper
Cup burned after two instances... microwave oven has preset feature to pop popcorn kernels and the Max time is 3.5 minutes... if you fill only the bottom of the cup 1.5 minutes should pop majority of kernels... it burnt the cup and the odor stood in the microwave 🤔

The lid should be more secure.
After a few uses, it became very hard to get the lid to stay on the container. The slightest thing pops the lid off.

Great product!
I've used this popper twice and it is absolutely perfect!! I wanted one that was small so it takes up minimal room when storing. It makes enough for one medium sized serving, but still enough to split it and have 2 small servings. In my microwave it is only 1min 45s, and both times only 2 kernels have been un-popped! I add my seasonings after emptying the popcorn into a bowl, which makes the cleanup super easy. I also like that this is BPA free. Highly recommend the Joie Microwave Popcorn Popper!!!UPDATE: I've found that the best way to pop the most kernels while preventing burning is to slightly underfill the well in the bottom.

Great product
Very convenient to use, little cleanup, not something that is involved.

OK
It indicates that you cook the popcorn for 2 min, but for me in doing so the first batch burned. So I tried 1:45 which works sometimes, but sometimes the popcorn still scorches. There is also popcorn that stick in the silicon well in the bottom of the container. I thought the whole unit was silicon but the canister is plastic and the bottom has a silicon insert. I thought the quality would be better for the money. But it does work with tweaking for your personal microwave, I think mine must run HOT hence I have to set this for less cooking time.

Don't waste your money
The lid is hard to fit. V small amount of popcorn....since it leaves many kernels unpopped. Nearly set fire to it twice with burnt popcorn. Really don't waste your money

Lid doesn't fit anymore
The lid doesn't fit anymore and initially struggled to get it to stay on. Now it doesn't fit at all no matter how much I struggle.

It works great! However check your microwave capabilities.
My microwave is a small one, only 600 watts, and I had to remove the glass revolving plate while using this popper as it just fits without it. No problem. Set the popper on the revolving arms and worked great. Got a nice 2 cup bowl of popped popcorn. Perfect for me. Time is about 2 mins. Count out to yourself (1 thousand, 2 thousand) between pops, when popping is starting to slow down. If you can get to 3 thousand, shut it down and get it out of the microwave, quick. I use Orville Redenbacher for choice of kernels. First time use was about 12 kernels not popped, second time was 9 kernels not popped, 3rd time's the photos I show. Only 4 kernels not popped. Do not attempt to overload. Fill the small basket inside just enough. I don't use butter, as you almost don't need it, but many ppl do. I find a light sprinkle of salt that pretty much filters though to the bottom of the bowl enough. Excellent product for me. I used it 3 times before writing this review. Will post again, if I run into any problems. Also, if you are not using a high quality popcorn, I don't know what the results would be.
