If you're wondering if you need one of these, the answer is, "yes." You may be thinking, "but I don't need to dig a hole for a fence post." That's funny, because that's the only purpose I have NOT used it for, yet. Here are just some of the tasks I've used this for so far: rolling logs, removing (small) branches from said logs, driving stakes, tamping dirt, breaking ice, breaking concrete, killing spiders, killing vampires, smashing things I don't like, breaking out of prison, breaking into prison, breaking into bank vaults, breaking out of prison again, pole vaulting over anything 4 feet or less, tenderizing steak. It's 12 lbs of solid steel. It'll be harder to find things you can't use it for. Owning one may even make you want to dig a hole, just for the heck of it.

It is a perfect post digging bar for lots of rocks as it has the shape wedge shape on the end which cuts through rocks and breaks them up. It is lite enough for a woman to use and be comfort with it. I have dug in several big post in already - cedar one's - home cut. Thank you for this quality tool.
