Kids 6 years and upwards can attempt to read this by themselves, although they will need help with some words. So, it's best to sit with your child and encourage them to read aloud while assisting them with the tougher words. The quality and feel of the hardbound book and the pages are excellent. Great value for money!

Poorly executed, not worth buying
The stories are very poorly narrated...insipid and lacking a narrative arc. Such a shame because the Ambar Birbal canon is a classic, and makes for great story telling if done right, as many of us may recall from our childhoods. Very disappointed with this. Better ones definitely exist, and I will return these and keep looking.
