I am never prompted to write a review, but was so surprised with the quality of these wind chimes. I felt compelled the write one. The glass is very thick and sturdy. I bought two of them, and they look individually made. They are bigger than I expected them to be, which is a good thing.

This bell is beautiful and very sturdy. One of my favorite recent purchases and will buy more as gifts.

Like other comments., this is beautiful glass piece. However, the bell is so heavy it would take hurricane-forced wind for it to ring.

I loved the look of this bell, it’s beautiful, but the ringer inside it is a wood dowel that has no way of ringing unless you’re in hurricane force winds! I live near the coast and it gets pretty windy around here, but never one sound. The dowel inside never comes close to the wall of the bell because the bell is heavy and doesn’t really ever move enough to allow the clapper to move. What it needs is a large round metal disk attached the bottom of the dowel that is just a few inches smaller than the actual circumference of the bottom of the bell, so the disc is more likely to produce sound with a small movement of the bell. In addition it wouldn’t hurt to have a small weighted object hanging from “the clapper” to catch more of the wind.

It is attractive and makes a nice garden sound but won't ring as designed. If you buy a screw eye and attach a garden flag to the ringer to catch the wind, the bell rings a lot and very well.

I bought this for my garden as i wanted to add a hand blown glass decor hat compliments my other glass decors and can act as a wind chime.PROS:- looks good, the glass is thick and built to withstand rain, cold, dust, snow.CONS:- the chime won't ring because of the design, so matter how light or heavy weight you hang. The pacific northwest strong gusts also were unable to make the bell ring.- The rope kind of looks odd and my bell kept sliding to one side after the rope got soaked in rain.Poor design.

These are large and very thick glass. The color is do beautiful and would add to any garden or yard. I have teal, deep blue and pale blue and they are all lovely. They don't chime but I got them for the look not the chime.
