This Is A New System For Me
I moved to France and was running out of test strips for my U.S. glucose reader. So, I ordered a new NAVII reader that promised to read glucose in mg/dL system used in the U.S. BUT, along with the reader I evidently ordered a large bunch of test strips that measure glucose in the U.K. system. Thankfully, someone at the company made the decision to send the test strips I ordered (less expensive than U.S. brands) but swapped the reader I'd ordered for the correct one to read the test strips. So, I'm getting used to the new system and it seems to be working out fine. In a few months I will get an HBa1c lab test done and see how accurate this new system is.

Be aware its in mg not mmol
So i ordered this as it looked nice and small (it is) so are the strips very easy to use has an alarm amongst other things ,and a diary to keep a track of everything ,my only problem is the readings, they come in mg and im used to mmol so if its changeable can some one let me know please i have downloaded a conversion chart for now but its a pain to refer to ,other than that im very very happy with the product

The product is described in the Amazon website as measuring blood sugar in mmol. It does not.
I purchased the product as an update of the SD Codefree blood sugar monitor that I currently have. I have used it for approximately two to three years and have been satisfied it. It was advertised as measuring in UK units, which is why it was bought. I also bought GlucoNavil strips. When it arrived and I opened it up to use it, it measured blood sugar levels in mg/dl. This i not as advertised on the website in the description of the product. Had I known this I would not have purchased the item. I only found this out by trying it. I requested a refund for the monitor and strips but only received a refund for the strips. I have commented via the follow-up refund process and have still not had a response some three or so weeks after my comments. I feel that this is unreasonable. I am happy to receive either a refund or a meter that measures blood sugar levels in UK units mmol (not mg/dl). I would also be happy to receive an SD Codefree monitor (which I believe the monitor I ordered has superseded) because I have been happy with the one I have.

Not accurate enough
The product does have some variation in reading from what my tests results showed. I requested a refund but was not accepted. The difference in readings were at first around 10-12 mg/DL which came down to 5-7mg/DL. Even though the margin was less But still the readings were different. Low ratings is only for not accepting the return. If a user is not confident of readings in particular case of diabetes then he should be given a refund. As using a device with variation can be risky.
