Very nice hydraulic spring action has a very classy movement, ruined by the latch catching on the socket face halting it midway open.Every time.I removed the latch springs so that it simply stays unlatched until I push it back in manually, since it is going into a countertop.For us, it actually makes it easier to use, since you don't have to stand there, holding the latch open until it fully opens. Highly recommend this "mod" since it can be done with a #2 phillips in seconds and easy to restore the original action of the latch.

This is a a great product, like the design. Once I'm finished charging my phone I just push it down then its flush with the floor. Also there is a lamp I use and there's no cord running through to the middle of the floor. The outlet is right there. Would surely recommend this product

Was heavier then expected but still worked out for my purpose!

I used this product in my new work shop. Having a outlet in the middle of the floor is very beneficial allowing me to connect equipment without the need for extension cords which can cause a safety issue of tripping. Nice product!!!

Looked really nice when we installed it, unfortunately the GFCI on one of the units I bought failed from the start with a red light on it. The other was ok.

I ordered the GFI version and the test and reset buttons did not cycle when pressed. They sent a replacement and it also had the same issue.
