Emotional, funny, heartbreaking and hopeful
When this book landed on my Kindle, my excited squeal probably caused dogs for miles around to cringe and I could not wait to dive in!! Forever with You is yet another fabulous read from this author in a series that is perpetually on my all time favorites list.It took me a minute to figure out who Stephanie was in the timeline of these stories, but if you have read the first two books in the series, you will remember her as one of Cam’s “friends” before he met Avery. Nick and Steph’s story was emotional, funny, heartbreaking and hopeful. In short, character histories are intertwined in unexpected ways, favorite couples from previous books make an appearance, and one of them experiences a significant event or two along the way as well as this new couple tries to determine how to navigate the path that is suddenly laid out before them.Stephanie has always been a confident woman who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants, but in this story, we get to see the vulnerable side of her that she usually keeps locked away from everyone else. The girls who sling insults at her do eventually get under her skin, and although she admires Avery and Teresa, she is unsure what to do with their attempts at friendship. After all, since Stephanie was with each of their guys prior to their relationships taking off with Cam and Jase, then Avery and Teresa should hate her, right?Needless to say Steph is looking forward to moving away from little dramas and life at Shepherd College and starting the next chapter working in the offices of a prestigious MMA facility. As she is moving into her new apartment, a vision of hotness appears to rescue one of her wayward boxes as it is about to smash unceremoniously to the ground. Enter Nick Blanco, bartender at Mona’s and fellow free spirit who enjoys having a good time without the strings of commitment. Although he is definitely gorgeous and checks all the right boxes for Steph, she is on board with the one-night-only theme and they enjoy themselves immensely. So when she walks into Mona’s to have a drink after a long day at work, she is shocked when Nick treats her like a leper – and Jax, Roxy and Reece nearly bust a gut when she sails into him in front of everyone for being an epic jerk. It’s been a long time since anyone stirred a real reaction in Nick in the way that Stephanie can, and although his life isn’t really conducive to relationships, he finds himself wondering what it might be like to try it out with this firecracker beauty. Then life throws them a little curveball and they have to decide if they want to give things between them a real shot or not.Overall I really enjoyed this story. Nick and Stephanie have great chemistry with a tangible connection, and although each is a self professed good-time-only type of person, they do alright attempting to navigate a relationship as they stumble along, make a few mistakes, apologize and try again. I was a bit disappointed to see Steph lose some of her confidence along the way and succumb to self doubt, but as I mentioned earlier, the tough girl facade hides a vulnerability she doesn’t expose to many people. Nick had the ability to be a gigantic jerk at times, but he reeled himself in and had some really wonderfully sweet and romantic moments too. So what keeps this from being a higher rating you ask? The event that prompts them to give a relationship a try was too easy to see coming and isn’t exactly a unique reason. It did give the characters a catalyst to recognize and act on the feelings that they otherwise would have brushed aside and led to some very heartfelt moments along the way though so for that I can forgive it.If you have not started this series yet, I cannot recommend it enough! Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, and Cam and Avery from Wait for You are still one of my favorite couples ever. They do appear in this story along with Teresa and Jase, Calla and Jax, and Reece and Roxy; although some are more integral players in the story than others, fans will be happy to see tidbits of updates on each couple’s lives. If you already enjoy this series, then you will definitely love Forever with You so go get that 1-clicking finger in action and clear your schedule for release day!

The best in the series!
I am a huge fan of this series and all of the characters we've met so far, but I was a little hesitant about Stephanie and Nick. We've seen them both in previous books, but I wasn't sure how this was going to work out. I must admit, this was one of my favorites in the series so far!Stephanie runs into a sexy stranger while moving into her new apartment, and can't get him out of her head. When she decides to check out Mona's, the bar Nick said he worked at, she wasn't expecting to see some of her friends from college there, or for her life to change in the matter of an instant. Nick and Stephanie have one hot and sexy encounter, and then as agreed upon, they leave it be, as neither of them were expecting more. When Stephanie shows up at Mona's again, Nick goes crazy and she puts him in his place. I loved seeing how independent Stephanie is, and how she wasn't scared to put Nick in his place for assuming the wrong things. After their big blowup, Nick works hard to become Stephanie's friend. Neither of them do relationships, but can't fight the attraction they have towards one another. When Stephanie's life takes a dramatic turn, I was scared to see how Nick was going to react, and was shocked about how he did act. He really showed how much he has changed since we met him in previous books. He may have a hard exterior, but he has a heart of gold. As we get to know more of Nick's past, my heart breaks for him and everything he has gone through. He doesn't let his past define him, but he still is weary of the past repeating itself. The strength and the character that Nick showed in this book was amazing and I adored him.Stephanie is the most insecure, secure character I've met. She is very self aware and secure in who she is, but in her head, the things she thinks others think of her bring her down. I enjoyed seeing her come out of her shell and make new friends and experience new things. Her back story is also quite heartbreaking, but like Nick, she doesn't let it define her. She makes so many amazing strides in this book, and just when you think she's going to do the right thing, she ends up doing the stupid thing. I can't believe how naive she was about obvious things around her. I understand at times she protected her heart, and let that drive her decision making skills, but she should have realized things weren't how she thought they were. This book definitely has the angst, drama, and emotional pull that I love. There are parts where I was laughing, other parts where I was angry, and then there was the moment that I wanted to ball my eyes out. The back and forth between Nick and Stephanie is awesome, their banter is hilarious, and their chemistry is HOT! Forever With You has multiple ups and downs in the story of Nick and Stephanie, but I couldn't have imagined a better story line for these two. Getting see see previous characters in this series and what's going on with them was also a highlight of this book. I have loved all of the couples in the Wait for You series, but Nick and Stephanie are definitely my fave.I highly recommend reading Forever With You today. Even though it is a part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone, but to get the full view of how much these characters have changed, and to understand the dynamics of the other characters, I do suggest reading the other books as well.

A Sweet, Heartbreaking Story
Forever with you was such a sweet book that deals with some very heavy topics. If you're sensitive to issues such as miscarriage, I would recommend caution while reading. Luckily, Jennifer deals with it in such a way that I think avoids those harmful myths and stereotypes.

A Touching Romance
"Forever With You" the romantic yet touching fifth novel in the "Wait For You" series vibrates with a steamy romance, heartbreak and pain that begins when Stephanie (Steph) Keith moves to Plymouth Meeting to work at Lima Academy, a martial arts training center. Wanting the enduring love of her parents, but unable to trust that she'll find it, Steph believes in casual sexual one nighters. Similarly enigmatic Nick Blanco the free-wheeling bartender at Mona's is known as a player who avoids any kind of committed relationship. With passion and realism Jennifer Arrmentrout escalates the emotional intensity of the story when Steph finds outs she's pregnant and after a little finger pointing the couple not only commit to having the baby, but begin building a future. But like all good plots the action builds when tragedy strikes and Nick and Steph have to overcome the obstacles they've built from pasts burdened with heartbreak and relationship issues. As events unfold with steamy sexual encounters and witty banter between the two the plot slowly builds towards a satisfying conclusion. One of the teasers in this well-written and touching story revolves around an incident at Lima Academy when Steph walks into the supply room to find a creep from her office accosting the owner's daughter. Having already had her own problems with Rick, he's fired and that's the end of it. Because the plot is revolves around Steph's pregnancy and relationship with Nick, the unpleasant scene wasn't relevant unless it's a lead up to another novel. Many of the characters in this story are familiar like the feisty and scrappy Roxy; cocky and wise Katie; and patient and observant Reece. In Calla's story Nick remained in the background as a sexy, mysterious bartender only to have his secrets revealed after he meets Steph. Nick Blanco for all his smugness, self-confidence and charm hides a tragic past filled with death and a bad relationship. Only when he learns of Steph's pregnancy is his kind, caring nature and self-sacrifice revealed. Similarly bold, smart and seemingly shallow Stephanie harbours the pain of loss. She's unsure about her future, looking forward to work and travel until she meets the elusive bartender. When these two connect sparks fly as their chemistry ignites.Although I found the language raw at times I liked the emotional roller-coaster ride that Jennifer Armentrout stirs in "Forever With You". It's a story that captivates the reader from the first page to the last.

Can't get enough!!
I loved Steph and Nick. Two people who weren't really looking for anything, especially Nick, had their lives turned upside down in the best possible way with a few bumps along the way. A definite must read!
