Worked for fixing our trampoline
My only complaint is that I didn’t double check the whole trampoline mat before I fixed three of places where the spring attached. After I fixed the three spots, I realized our mat almost had a hole and really needed replaced. I wouldn’t have spend so much time reinforcing each one, I would have just done a little to get us through until the new mat arrived. I did familiarize myself with the tool at least.

Doesn't work well with leather under pressure
Easy to use and simple instruction. Like that all parts store in handle.Downside is that it doesn't work well with leather that is under strain. Needed to empty beanbag to repair simple tear.

Not as speedy for me than traditional stitching.
I puchased this intending to use it for a leather project and it was more irritating and slower to use than just the old 2 needle criss cross method. I did manage to try it to repair a pair of felt slippers as well and ended up going back to just using 2 needles, it was just quicker that way, I spent more time fiddling with thread and starting over due to snapping thread or placing thread trought the wrong loop, I just gave up on it. I tried different threads, different materials and kept going back to simpler traditional methods, it's something I'm willing to try again with other threads and materials so maybe I'll find a good use for it but as of now it's mostly been a dissapointment. I'll offer 3 stars for it did make a good awl for making holes for my leather project but that was unfortunately about it.

Handy sewing device for around the House, Camp and work site
It truthfully is only the second one I have ever owned. Great for all kinds of projects inside and out. I have used it to sew up tents and gear, tarps and boots… a versatile device that can really bail your ass out of trouble in a pinch

Good quality
Use this to patch up my trampoline straps. The straps where the rings connect to the springs fell off in some places on my trampoline. This kit had no problem piercing the trampoline mat and double stacked strap. I say it was worth it using this kit.

Excelente calidad y funcionalidad
Mi hijo lo usa para sus creaciones en cuero y está encantado. Su diseño facilita el manejo del hilo y las agujas son de muy buena calidad.Para coser el cuero sí es mejor perforar previamente con otro instrumento y luego usar el speed stitcher. lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Utilizado para una emergencia en vela de dacron, cumple perfectamente. La dificultad inicial de perforación de material, por lo que se pidió otro juego de agujas, es buena. La única dificultad la tuvimos con el hilo excesivamente encerado (también hay que decir que la temperatura era de 7º C), pero que no debería ser problema en verano. Aconsejable para llevar en el barco y hacer una reparación de urgencia.
