Works good, easy DIY
The motor in my freezer was making noise and after a bit of research it recommended replacement. When I checked it out the blade had a broken fin and the motor was making noise. I kept it running until I received the part. Took me at the most 15 minutes to install. Just a tip. If replacing the motor, might as well get a blade. Both are inexpensive and easy to install. Doing it myself saved me a lot of money.

Just what I needed

Does not run when needed.
I installed this unit and at constantly cycled on and off. My thought is that the wires on this one are not thick enough so they can't carry the current. Sent it back and purchased the factory replacement Panasonic one and it worked perfectly. Still works almost two months later.I was getting an error code, when I checked online this was the part that they said was malfunctioning.

Fit for Frigidaire Gallery LGHB2867PFO
I had an SY EF code meaning this evap motor was out. Install was easy with YT video online. I got this fridge used for my garage, so it goes through more stress than an indoor fridge. I had a giant chunk of ice on the back of the fridge that was attaching it to the garage wall. Code went away immediately after install and it is running like a champ again. Back of the fridge is cool with no frost build-up. The price of the motor is less than the cost of recycling the fridge, so if you are even a little handy, try this first for your sy ef code. Recommend making sure you remember which screws go where when dissassembling to avoid a headache later. Also, be sure that when you reattach the freezer door that it is both plumb and level. Slight adjustments to the bolts may be necessary. If you don't do this right you won't have a good seal. If you put in the bolts and the seal is good then no other adjustments needed.

Fixed my Frigidaire refrigerator
This part was affordable and fixed the issue I was having with my Frigidaire refrigerator, model FGUN2642LF3. About a week before Thanksgiving, my refrigerator stopped cooling and gave an error (the display makes it look like a 5Y EF or SY EF). Removing the old evaporator fan motor and replacing it with this new one took less than 20 minutes (removing freezer door, removing screws and panels, replacing the fan motor, and reassembling). The only tools needed were a couple of screwdrivers and a nut driver. The refrigerator and freezer both started cooling and temps were back to normal within a few hours (I keep my refrigerator set to 34 degrees fahrenheit and freezer set at -5 degrees fahrenheit). The price of buying the part and replacing it myself was a lot cheaper than calling a repairman. There are also videos on you tube for various model refrigerator's and how to replace this part if anyone is unsure how to go about the repair. The original part lasted about 8 years. Hopefully this replacement will last just as long.

Works, but for how long?
I purchased my first of these on September 22, 2022. Easy to install and it worked great. Fast forward 17 months and I'm getting the evap error on the fridge again. I ordered the part again, installed it, and the fridge is happy again. Two interesting notes. First, the one I pulled (the first replacement) appears to have a discolored area that may be a lubricant inside the housing (see photo). I don't know what else it could be I suspect that might have caused the failure. Second, the serial number on the new one was one digit higher than the old one. I'm hopeful that they've made a small design change that is addressing the issues that several people have reported. The bottom line is that it did fix the issue and it's $18.99 vs $134.99 for the genuine part. I'm willing to replace it every 18 months at that price because I don't expect to keep this fridge for more than a couple more years. I went five stars for easy to install and value for money. I went two stars for durability.

motor did not work, end up bought OEM motor and it fixed the problem
The original motor quitted, bought this motor and replaced; it ran a few seconds then shut off. They sent a replacement motor still doing the same thing. End up bought an OEM motor and it fixed the problem. Not sure how other reviews were that lucky.
