Really, really high-quality grill
I’m reviewing too soon, because we haven’t put it to use yet.I can tell it’s a high-quality grill! I’m almost done assembling. I’ll update once we use it.So far: really carefully-packaged. Directions were pretty direct. The hardware was all packaged together and easy to locate. See the second photo: I used a lot of the hardware before I took the picture, but you can see how clearly it’s labeled. Most of the assembly is simple, but at the same time, you have to be very alert and careful not to funk it up.Biggest assembly mistake I made: Failing to remove the support bar (which you remove and throw away. It’s not in the numbered steps; it’s in a little blurb before Step 1.) I had to backtrack a bit, because I didn’t see that I needed to do that. That was my bad.I’ll update once we use it for a few weeks, but I can tell it’s a really great grill.

Built Well - Good Value!
I have never written a review before, but felt I had to for this grill. I almost didn’t buy it, due to the reviews saying it would take 5 hours to assemble. I did not find this to be the case. It took me 2.25 hours, which is as fast (or faster) than other grills I have assembled. So, the time to assemble is likely dependent on your effort and experience. If you are reasonably handy, I think 2.5 hours is ample.Overall, the grill is solid and sturdy. There were some weak pieces that broke during assembly, but they were not significant. I haven’t grilled with it yet, so I can’t speak to that.Hope that helped 😊

Best charcoal grill ever used
Awesome charcoal grill. The only negative is it could use a lower level on the tray adjuster

Love this Grill
As a culinary school drop out I love to grill. I bought a treagger (sic) 2 seasons ago and I hate it. It is an outside oven that's it. I use it for cooking potatoes and corn and as an extra oven over the holidays.I bought this grill 30 inch version a few months ago and waited to give it a review. I love it. Yes it is not easy to assemble, good thing I watched a few videos on line. This saved some time.Once assembled thought the grill is every thing it's advertised. My 15 son now uses it to grill steaks to perfection. Raise the coals all the way and close the lid. Place steak in center of coals and close the lid for 3 minutes. Flip steak and close lid for another 3 minutes.Medium rare. For more well move the steak to the far edge of the grilll off the coals and let cook for a few more. One thing I recommend is to cover the ash tray in tin foil to make cleaning easier.Other wise this grill for under 300 is perfect.

A better grill!
We recently bought and returned a grill that came with broken top, unsoldered wheel within a week and one that starter rusting on the third day for about 30% higher price. It was lightweight and just felt cheap. This bad boy on the other hand... it is nice, ya'll! It is heavier and gives the sense of durability, heavier metal, set up was a breeze with the detailed instructions and the carefully marked pieces. The only thing that is a bit difficult is the temperature control but I think with use we will get a hold of it.Really nice grill, guys and girls!

Non-Fitting Parts & Terrible Customer Service
Honestly this grill is probably great, we are yet to use it... however the grill came with a non-fitting part. After spending two hours putting it together and were very close to finishing. One of the Part L's would not fit with Part D. We immediately reached out to Masterbuilt in which they took 3 days to respond. In the meanwhile because we bought the grill to... grill! We called a handyman family member who told us to gently drill the steel part L until a circle formed. After an hour or so of manual labor drilling the part, we were then able to get that part D & part L to fit together. I then assembled the rest of the grill and Masterbuilt reached back out to us informing us that we had just VOIDED THE WARRANTY. lol. What a joke of a company! Maybe do a better job of checking your work before sending out pieces that don't fit together. We chatted with a couple customer service reps and they told us we can now buy the part we need. Well, we certainly are not going to buy a part that should already come fitting the grill, and we don't need it now that we did the manual labor.

Amazing Value!
The Masterbuilt grill is just that, it's built by masters. It's heavy duty, all parts fit (and were well labeled), and putting it together took some time and patience, but it wasn't difficult. And I did most of it without any assistance! Yea! I am thrilled with the grill, timeliness of delivery, and ease of assembly. Thank you, Masterbuilt and Amazon!!!

Sizzling hot stuff !
Great piece. Perfect siZe with ample space to work. Takes a bit longer to assemble and need at least 2 person - it’s heavy ! But worth it. The cast iron door and charcoal lever makes temperature control a breeze.
