It is perfect for people with diabetic neuropathy and other conditions that cause foot sensitivity. The top is 20 inch wide and the bottom is 15 inch wide. The heights is adjustable to 20 inch.

Works fine for women with small feet
This is a decent product if you're feet are small. I have a 12 inch mattress and lofty mattress pad. This product only extends to 20 inches tall so that results in just a 5-6 inch rise above the mattress. I wear a size 6 shoe. This product would not lift the sheets off most men's feet. I use a couple bulldog clamps on the vertical bars to secure the sheet as it is difficult to tuck the sheet under the mattress where the product is located. I was able to tuck in the other parts of the sheet. I don't even try to tuck in the blanket. The product does stay in place and can bear the weight just fine.I was a hospital RN for 4 decades and the "bed cradles" we used there were sturdy one part tubular construction that lifted sheets about a foot above the mattress. They were inserted along the side of the bed down by the feet. The section that went under the mattress was about 2 feet long which insured it stayed in place. The section that was above the mattress was 18-20 inches long which is nice if you have restless legs. You may have to contact a Medical supply company to get that high quality of a product.

You get what you pay for.
If a deal seems too good to be true, then it probably is. For a product like this offered in the low $20’s, why did I expect it to function as promised? It absolutely does not. It is very cheaply made. No amount of tightening prevents this unit from wobbling under the “weight” of my blanket and sheet. The other problem, and this one is no fault of the manufacture’s, but it should have been mentioned on the seller’s site: if you have a particularly thick mattress (in our case, 18”), the device is largely ineffective; it stands a mere 4” above the mattress top. Unless you have extremely small feet, the tent this creates is not tall enough to keep the sheets off your feet. (Though I’m 5’2” & 105 lbs, I have size 8 feet; they need space.)I should have returned this thing, but having something is better than nothing. I had some wild setups prior to this purchase. My next stop is to find a proper sturdy one with a height adjustment.

Better sleep!
Wow. This really improved the quality of my sleep! I have sensitive feet, and found blanket pressure uncomfortable, but didn’t realize how much it was affecting my sleep. This support is sturdy enough to support 3 blankets. Although there were no instructions, the picture on the box allowed me to easily put it together. The verticals slide up through the lower piece and are screwed into the top bar.Happy!

Great Value for the price
For the price this is very good. It works for my needs just fine. I don't have a box spring as i have a platform bed and was concerned that it might cause a problem but it lays on the board under the mattress just fine. It said it is adjustable but I cannot see where or how. But I did not need for it to be adjustable. The only thing I didn't like was there were no directions for putting it together. I had to study the pictures on the box in order to put it together. I am using it on a twin bed.

Keep covers off your feet
Bought this for my wife andshe likes i t. but says that she kept bumping her sore toes on the bar. The design could be improved . I was going to make her one but she needed it soThis was faster. I would wrap thesidebars with soft material so the patient didnt bump their feet.

This makes it possible to sleep at night
Having covers touch my toes at night is very uncomfortable (neuropathy.) This blanket support lifts the covers up so that my feet are kind of in a tent. My top sheet isn't long enough to cover the blanket support and tuck in, so I put a folded twin sheet over the support and tuck that in before I put on the top sheet and quilt, which both hang over the support. It was easy to put together after looking carefully at the picture on the box, a good thing because no instructions came with it

This works great at the end of my bed to keep heavy blanket off my feet. I put an extra pillow the same size as the top of the metal ring area to bring it up even higher. Meets my needs. The screws are always a little loose and should have some type of little washer to help secure the screw I guess. It works for me.

I really like this sheet lifter it works great for a standard ...
I really like this sheet lifter it works great for a standard size thickness of mattress and for women feet that are 9 or less and men feet 7 or less. However, after I bought this sheet lifter I decided to modified my mattress top by adding 4 in memory foam to it, now my feet don't fit under the lifter. I continue to use this lifter and I will figure out a way to modify it so my feet don't touch it.

Good quality, works with adjustable bed
Very good quality. Easy to assemble.I have an adjustable bed frame, and it works because I am able to slide it between the mattress and the frame, and it fits between the bars at the foot of the bed.The height of the foot bar is high enough for my feet. I am size 9. Its height is adjustable.
