~ GREAT CHOCOLATE FLAVOR ~
This is the first time I get "Navitas Naturals Cacao Powder Organic" it has an excellent Super-Chocolate Taste that I really like and ever since I found it I add it to so many things, Smoothies, Mexican Sauces, Spreads, Cakes and my Favorite Chocolate Sauce that I make with Maple Syrup Grade B, which I also got here at Amazon. Navitas Cacao Powder and Maple Syrup Sauce is very easy to make, I use the Sauce for Ice-Cream Toppings, Plain Yogurt and many Different Cakes and Frostings. Maple Chocolate Syrup: In a Saucepan Medium Heat add: 1 Cup Maple Syrup Grade B 3/4 Cup Water 1/2 teaspoon Salt, bring it to a Simmer (Not Boil) add and whisk 1 Cup Navitas Organic Cacao Powder it will take several minutes to Dissolve Totally don't let it Boil too much, Remove from Heat and add 1 1/2 Tablespoons of a Good Vanilla Extract, Watkins is Good, I also get it here You will need a 16 ounces Glass Jar, the Sauce will come up almost to the Top, it keeps well in the Refrigerator for about 3 Weeks and it is Super-Good, you going to be eating it all the time, I like to pour some of it and mix it with Almond Milk that I make myself for that Special Treat. This is another way of eating Raw Chocolate Powder which is supposed to be a Super-Food according to Doctor Oz and his Television Show. Maple Syrup and Cocoa Powder makes the best Chocolate Sauce because both Ingredients don't have any Chemicals, Additives, Sugars or Stabilizers, unlike the well known Chocolate Syrup Brands and you really know what's in it! The Bean of the Cacao Plant is the Nutritional and Flavorful source for all Chocolate and Cocoa Products. Cacao contains a Naturally Rich supply of Antioxidants and is a Good Source of Dietary Fiber and one of the Highest Sources of Magnesium, Flavanols and Polyphenols. Serving Size: 2.5 Tablespoons (14g) has 60 Calories. Product of Peru. Navitas Naturals is 100% Pure Cacao Powder that is Certified Organic, Kosher, Non-gmo, Gluten Free and Raw! ...Thank You D.D.

Not Correct Descrption of Product Quatity
The product itself is great! However, don't purchase it from the seller Love 4 One LLC. I thought I would be getting two of 16-bags according to the description - 'Navitas Organics Cacao Powder, 16 oz. Bags (Pack of 2) โ Organic, Non-GMO, Fair Trade,.." When it say "16 oz. Bags (Pack of 2)" They should say "8 oz. Bags (Pack of 2)"!!!

Raw Cacao is delicious AND amazing!!
Drink at least 1 cup of this every day, it's amazingly healthy for your body and delicious. Tastes like Hot Cocoa, if you're looking for making a hot cup of cocoa, without sugar, use some liquid stevia and add some milk (substitute) and it's delicious! You don't have to destroy the nutritional base of the cacao, just add the milk to the cacao first (1/2 cup) and then add the other (1/2 cup of hot water) it turns into a 'warm' cacao, but doesn't destroy the properties of the cacao. Also, add cinnamon for a delicious and health beneficial additive! Cacao is the highest source of magnesium from a whole food and isn't used near as much as it should be. Magnesium relaxes muscles, and dissolve plaque build up in the arteries reversing heart diseases and naturally lowering blood pressure. It is great for weight loss because it has high chromium, regulates blood sugar, and just great for the cardiovascular system as a whole. If you do not heat it and consume it raw, there's even more benefits from the antioxicants, as well as the preservation of vitamin C, which is destroyed with any heating process. (Makes you re-think the benefits of any orange juice that hasn't been juiced right in front of your eyes.) It has a great source of phenethylamine which is a feel good neurotransmitter, it has high Omega 6 fatty acids which also aid in the absorption of nutrients and benefit the cardiovascular system. Cacao also has tryptophan and serotonin, all wonderful in your body as amino acids are the building blocks of the human body and without the support of other amino acids, the human body does show 'symptoms' of deficiencies. Vitamins in Cacao (raw) Vitamin A, B, C, E Magnesium Copper Calcium, Zinc, Sulfur, Iron, Chromium Phosphorus Omega 6 Saturated Fats Amino Acids Soluble Fiber Catalase, lipase, amylase enzymes Phytonutrients I am a nutritionist and life coach and I use a lot of whole foods in my recipes. Love this product!
I have two bags on autoship every month. This product mixes well, it has a pleasant taste when mixed with my protein powder (Visalus Vi-Shake), and it isn't chalky or bitter. Cacao powder is so good for you and on those nights I'm craving chocolate I mix this into a small shake: 1 cup Almond/Coconut Milk, one to two scoops Vi-shake, one to two big scoops of Cacao Powder, 1/2 to 1 banana, and ice. I mix this up into a thick rich chocolate shake. It hits the spot for my late night snacking, I sleep great, and know I'm giving my body great anti-oxidants & helping my heart. I've also used this in cake vanilla cake mix by taking a scoop of the vanilla mix out of the bowl, mixing in this chocolate, then creating a swirl of chocolate in the cake. Plus, I've made brownies and I've snuck in spinach and zucchini plus an extra scoop of this chocolate to help hide the veggies. Another idea is I've mixed this with cinnamon and stevia and sprinkled it on toast. The cinnamon helps blood sugar and the stevia is great because of low calorie yet sweet (1 out 3 people can experience lose stool but it doesn't affect me that way). Now, this is great size bag that reseals and stores well. I believe this is the best Cacao Powder product on the market.

OK for what it is
Tastes like cocao is supposed to, though with some bitterness, as expected, and the price is not bad. It is a bit hard to dissolve though and tends to leave some residue in the bottom of a cup. It needs sugar or other sweetener for my taste. One thing I do is to add it to a tablespoonful to a packet of Quaker instant oatmeal, plus some sugar or Splenda and 2/3 cup of water. That blends well and tastes good after two minutes in my microwave oven. I also tried something new today--I mixed about 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee with a whole teaspoon of the cocao into a coffee cup of hot milk, with some sweetener, and it was quite good. I got caffeine from the coffee, but the mixture tasted mostly of cocao, which I prefer to the coffee taste. And yes, I sweetened it with Splenda. I know some will howl about that, but as a toxicologist I am convinced that the Splenda is as safe as other sweeteners, including sugar. Also, keep it in mind that just because something is "natural" or comes entirely from a plant does not mean it is harmless. If you look up toxic substances you will find that most of the very most potent come from plants or other "natural" sources. For example, ricin, botulinum toxin, etc.

Make a shake, More recipes, and videos.
Coco is really strong tasting. Cacao is not as bad. It also helps get you past bad tasting protein powders. It really helps me with cravings. Things like this take time, to work in you. Here is what I do, some of these items have been talked about on The DOCTORS. DR. OZ his website has a 3 day juicing and smoothie plan. Check the website navitasnaturals. For more recipes, videos and info. I use it in this shake. Use 3 to 4 servings of each, drink it in 3 days or less. Add water, Hemp milk or Almond milk. About 1/2 full. 1/2 cup Hemp protein power 1 cup Hemp seed nut 1 Tlbs. Chia seed powder (this will gel if you let it sit) 1 Tlbs. Acai 1 Tlbs. Lucuma 2 Tlbs. Gelatinized Maca 2 Tlbs. Dulse flakes 1 tsp. cup Camu Camu 1/3 cup Cacao (strong tasting, you will know if you use too much) 1 to 2 cups Frozen Blueberries or cherries, mango. Navitas Coconut Palm Sugar (or YACON to taste) Also I add some goldenseal root. Not every day. (Today, goldenseal is marketed as a tonic to aid digestion, sooth upset stomach, and as an antibacterial agent. It is considered a natural antibiotic and is most often combined with Echinacea in preparations designed to strengthen the immune system. However, only one study found that goldenseal might help boost white blood cells (a measure of the infection fighting ability of the immune system), and it wasn't well designed. Start with the blender half full of water. Mix the Hemp nut, Dulse flakes and frozen fruit first; on high, till it makes a "milk". Then the rest of each item, you want in it If it gets too thick. Add some more water. You can add yogurt, take the seaweed flakes out if you like. it will taste good if you work on it.
