Great for travel. I use water to fill them because of the availability. They're made of a durable weather resistant canvas. What I like about it is that you can make it any weight up to its limit for the size chosen

This is a great idea. you can add more sand/water as you become stronger and need the extra weight. No need to get a set. You have it in one awesome little package. This kettlebell fills to a weight of up to 15lbs.

For what it's worth, technically this product is as advertised. When I got it I was surprised how little material was used in construction. My first thought, was that I couldn't believe I paid $50 for this. I expected it to have an inner bladder at least to contain whatever filler used like my sandbags have. It is just a hollow shell with a folding closure that buckles like a dry bag. Straps seems to be reinforced well, but handle seemed too small and flimsy for me. And no materials about training or setup included. I returned it without using it so I can't speak on behalf of the performance/durability. Couldn't bear to pay that price for something that clearly can't cost very much to construct.

Seems fell apart
It serves its purpose for the average person looking to expand their home equipment. I'm a personal trainer and use it with experienced and beginner clients. Only after 3 times of use, the seems started to come apart and the sand leaked out of the sides. Note, I did not put and bladder bag or anything inside first, which may have been the issue. Either way, the seems still fell apart, so be careful and do not slam this around.

A must have!
I got this free during a promotion and it is really awesome. It's portable and folds up really small, so if you travel you can put it anywhere. The great thing about this kettle ball is you only need one for up to 15 lbs you do not need a 5lb or 10lb or 15 lb kettle ball because this one can be any weight from 0-15 and best of all you can fill it will whatever you want; I used big rocks from around my house. It has very durable material and the handle is soft unlike most kettle ball handles.
