Why this brand does not reveal the numbers of good bacteria (cpu). almost all brands put this on their product.

They are not bacteria but a type of yeast. My son, who has Crohns and has C Diff. uses and has been wonderful. He has not had C diff since starting this. No side effects in over 2 years.

Does 1 capsule contain 50 billion or 2 capsules=50 billion?

According to Florastor's website: http://www.florastor.com/infographics/health-wellness 1 capsule contains 5 billion live cultures not 50 billion.

Does overheating during transit affect quality and effectiveness of florastor? the glass bottles i just unpacked in s. florida are very hot.

The directions for taking Florastor tell you not to take it with a hot beverage. I believe it's something like anything over 120 degrees F. You have to wonder how hot it gets in those postal and ups trucks when it's a balmy 90 degrees in the shade here in the south.UPDATE: I just spoke with the pharmacist at the Florastor company and they said the probiotic yeast in the product is stable up to 140 degrees.

How do I know which Florastor has the new coating?
