I initially bought this for the packaging and ended up loving the product and repurchased. Its a strong dry shampoo that does its job quickly. You get so much product with this it lasts maybe 6x as long for me as an aerosol bottle would. It has a light and nice scent, I’ve tried the patchouli and lavender scents and they’re very subtle and nice. Ive even gotten compliments on my hair smelling so good! Do not apply this directly onto your head from the bottle or you will get a white cast! Pour a little on your hands and smear it around like its chalk for a gymnast before applying to your hair. This will give you a more targeted and even application without white spots on your head. I have very dark brown hair and it leaves very little white cast when applied how I described that can mostly be brushed out. If you need to apply a lot it will leave a cast. When that happens I like to apply a dry hair oil like the Moroccan Oil treatment to give my hair more natural hydration and shine. Overall its worth your money, lasts forever, smells excellent, and gets the job done!

I received Lulu organics natural hair powder in Patchouli Amber. This product is one of the best organic and natural products I’ve used for hair. It is good for subtly brightening my natural dark blonde hair, providing volume, and cleaning your hair without shampoo or aerosol like many other effective dry shampoo brands. The smell is divine and has no chemical odor like some mass marketed aerosol dry shampoos which I greatly appreciated. Overall I am highly impressed by this product and the affordable price so would most definitely choose to buy again! Thank you!

I love the smell. It's pleasant but subtle. I prefer subtle scents compared to other products with extremely flowery scents you can pick up from across the room. The opening is shaped in a way that makes it pretty easy to get the product out without going overboard. It's a lot like one of those pepper shakers with the rotating lid. The product does a good job soaking up oil and adding some texture or lift to the hair when it gets oily or flat. It feels slightly more gritty or more coarse than some more finely ground / powdery dry shampoos I have tried, but it also does not clump up as badly as the more powdery ones if you accidentally add a little too much. I tried the apply to roots and massage / brush method ; and I tried the apply to hands, rub together, massage into hair method. The latter was my favorite of the two for this product. It was strong enough to pull up oil without having to pour directly on the roots.

I really love this dry shampoo! I do wish the dispenser was easier, so I’ve actually been putting it in my own powder spray bottle. The scent is *chefs kiss*. Earthy but not over powering!

5/5 for the patchouli scant. I love it! And I do use it on my hair to help control oil, but it is not better than the spray product. Best way to use it is at night. Comb and massage it into your scalp than let it absorb while you sleep.

Like every other person needing dry shampoo, I ventured into the world of powder dry shampoo with caution. Ive only ever used the can spray ones and always, ALWAYS had scalp issues due to ... whatever was being sprayed on my scalp. When I first got the Lulu's Organics powder, I was really was befuddled on HOW to get the powder on my head without dusting everything in my bathroom with a fine coating of powder. If you have asked yourself this question, never fear. Use an old (or new) face powder brush (preferably a dense kabooki styled brush) and pour a small amount of the dry powder on a plate (or bowl or elephant ring holder that your best friend brought you). Load up your brush, tap off the excess and lightly dust your roots with the powder. It works best for me if it keep the powder OFF of my scalp and using the brush makes it easier for me to pin point WHERE I want the powder to go. Tapping powder out of the container with the hole-y lid never worked for me and ended up DUMPING powder all in the same spot. Once I found this application style, I swore I would NEVAH go back to the aerosol versions (which was a good thing with the benzene and butane issues that everyone discovered: no wonder my scalp hated me!). Ive tried the rose and the lavendar of this brand and I love the way it works. The makeup brush application will work for any powder dry shampoo and will save you wasting product and make it easier to get the results you were hoping for.

This is pricey for a product that doesn’t do it’s job. Decided to try this but regret it. This leaves my hair even greasier than before I apply it. I usually apply it at night so that it absorbs but I wake up with my hair so greasy. I’ve tried using a little and then increasing the product in case I was using too little. Nope, either way, hair ends up greasy. There are better products for cheaper. Don’t waste your money. I should’ve read the 1-star reviews but they echo my experience. This product simply doesn’t work. Smells great but useless in keep your hair fresh between washes. AWFUL AWFUL PRODUCT. Don’t waste your money.

I bought this in May of 2022 and use it at least once a week and I am finally about to run out and repurchase. This lasts you so much longer than an aerosol dry shampoo and I love that it’s more natural. It has a great scent too! I like to apply it at night on a powder brush that I bought and dedicated to this product. Applying it with the brush helps give me more control with the powder, as a little goes a long way, and helps me spread it evenly. I highly recommend this product!
