Exceeded my expectations
When purchasing this product I wasn’t sure exactly what it would do. But when I put it down the drain my sink had 3 inches of water in it. I moved it around and pulled it up and then used a paper towel to wipe the stuff off of it. I put it down the drain again, then the water drained out and more stuff came up on it. I put it down one more time and brought it up again. I could not believe that my sink was working flawlessly. There was no water pooling in it and a week later it still works wonderfully. The sink had a straight drain, where is my tub drain was curved. Even though the item is curved I still had some trouble using it in my tub drain. I will keep trying the tub but I’m so grateful that the sink is working better than it has in months. Other reviewer‘s have complained about this breaking off in their drains. Due to this having teeth on it when it goes down the drain, pull it up slowly and if it gets caught wiggle it to get it unstuck and then it comes right up without issues. I love the fact that I can reuse this and just put some vinegar on it to clean it. I also like that I have five of them to use. I shared one with a friend. I would definitely buy this product again.

THAT was in my drain?!
Easy to use, inexpensive, and effective. My long hair keeps our drain clogged and I started getting worried that using Drano so often would ruin our pipes. Plus Drano just wasn't doing the job anymore. So I decided to give these a whirl. I was not disappointed! Grossed out, yes, but disappointed no. I can't remove the stopper from my shower drain so it was a little difficult to feed it down the pipe but once I got it past that it was smooth sailing. And man oh man the nastiness that it brought out! Hair, lint, and who knows what else. Gross. But strangely satisfying. And now the water drains great! I will definitely buy more!

Works. The hair blob monster was released.
Wow. This thing works. Since quarantine started, my hair is even longer than ever and the never ending stress has made me brush a lot out after each shower. So I imagine I'm losing a lot each shower. Between that and at home haircuts for my husband no matter how careful we are, some gets in the drain. We got these yesterday and within ten minutes of receipt had snaked our shower drain got a blob of grossness through the grate and then proceeded to do four sink drains and the second bath tub drain. We got some out of my sink and nothing was in the others. But it definitely works. And it's definitely disgusting. Hair and old shampoo and conditioner and a lot of calcium from our hard water. Don't eat before. But definitely worth the money and only takes a minute. We used the same one to do all drains and just took the hair off with a paper towel in between the drains. It's good to do to get ahead of any drainage problem. We've lived in the house for five years never done it and didn't have an issue but now I don't expect to for even longer! Quarantine has definitely made us more in tune to the house and treating it even better and this will help all your drains. Get it!

I would never buy it again
I had a difficult time placing this so called “miracle worker” in the drain. For those who plan on buying a snake rod (something like this) that goes in the drain to unclog whatever may be stuck in the drain, you may want to look at this specific review for that I am going to go and details of to why you shouldn’t buy this type of drain opener. If you do decide to buy this item off of Amazon, I’ll have you know that this item is wrapped thoroughly in a plastic wrap. This item has five of these drain tools. But the item that I purchased is made out of plastic and based off the other images that I see on everybody else reviews, it breaks so easily. Now my dinner break at all, and perhaps it did not break because I did not put too much force because I me feeling it alone it’s so fragile. Not to mention that the snake doesn’t even go so far in the drain. Here I am struggling, twisting and turning the item hoping that I’m able to pull out some hair that is stuck in my drain but no prevail. This item is worthless to me. And I fear that if I do put all of my force into shoving it down the drain, the item would just snapped in half in the drain. And then not only is my hair going to have to be the thing that I would have to take out but also that item that has been snapped in half. And I want to avoid that I do not want to put too much effort into something that supposed to be effortless. I wish to establish a refund.

Didn't have the heart (or stomach) to take a picture
While I'd love to show you a picture of how well this things works, I don't think anyone would want to see it. I started off innocently by unpacking one strip and cleaning out a particularly stubborn sink drain. Things went well and a decent amount of hair was retrieved from the drain. Great, this thing seems to work, time for the shower. I didn't know my shower drain cover could come off, so I started by snaking the strip through the drain cover until is stopped, wiggled it up and down and around as prescribed and began to slowly pull upward. I continued to pull and the drain cover popped out while I continued to snake out something the size and smell of a rabid ground hog. My shower was draining slowly and now I know why. While the size was shocking the smell was like "interesting". The sweet scent of shampoo and death was not something I was prepared for. Thankfully, I held it together and can confidently attest to the cleanliness of my shower drain. I would highly recommend this product. It does a great job for a super cheap price. I threw the first strip away after two uses. Not because it couldn't be used again, but because I didn't want to ever put that particular strip through that ordeal again. Wow, what an eye opener. Thanks for a great product that work as described.
