School fads have been eternal. I can remember yoyos, conkers, but the likes of Pogs were after my time. 'Power Pux' is the next in line to try and achieve the holy grail of being a playground fad. It is a cross between tiddlywinks and Pogs. It also reminded me of those little plastic pops you used to get. Press them down and a few seconds later they would bound into the air. These are discs that you pop and then they will bound up.They are a little anarchic, but great fun. I am not sure they are great for sustained play, but they are good for a bit of mad entertainment. This pack is a starter pack with five discs and a launcher. They are all patterned differently and you can collect the lot. I am not a huge fan of the slight collection madness that something like this can instill, but you can just play with the ten given. These feel very fad like, but that is the point. If you can grab a starter pack as well then these are fun discs to play with, you can just play heads or tails or shoot them into a pot like tiddlywinks.

First time I’ve seen these little poppers and they are very fun and colourful. Not much too them really just cheap little plastic disc curved so that when you use the launcher included to push them down onto a hard surface, they stay for just a few seconds then POP very suddenly into the air. They are very light and no one can get hurt and you could invent lots of little games involving catchingthe. They are bright and colourful and some seem to work better than others so you get your favourites. As far as collectibility goes the artwork is a little simplistic but they are so cheap and fun that they get a definite thumbs up from me.Ridiculous that they should have “for boys” written everywhere in the description as they are clearly for anyone to enjoy.

At first I thought this was some strange form of Pogs, I was nearly right it is a cross between Pogs and tiddly winks. You get 5 different discs in this set and one launcher. I say launcher, you basically flip the discs upside down, place the launcher on top to push the disc inverted so it pops, then count to three. It should launch in the air into a target or onto a target mat (in different sets that are available). With this set you simply get 5 discs out of the 50+ from Season 1. Yes, season 1, there are more on the way!!!Overall for the price it is 5 discs, and a launcher, but the game itself is quite fun. So for the price, I'd recommend, as I've paid more for less in the past and it is good fun but inevitably is more useless plastic.
