We have had cloths like this for years and they are thick and soft and absorb well as long as they are not washed with water softener or dried with dryer sheets. Doing so with any towel or hand cloth reduces their absorbency

I loved the color and feel of these dish cloths, however I was looking for dish towels instead. The heading on the description called these dish towesls, so I bought them. Had to return so I cannot speak to the durability of this item.

I love these All-Clad Dish Cloths and keep finding more and more uses for them. I use them to scrub dishes clean, quickly wipe my hands, clean up spills on the counter and clean up water and food spills from my cats. They are extremely absorbent, yet they dry quickly. I got the chili color and it matches my kitchen decor perfectly. I love that these come in a 6-pack so that I always have a few dry and ready to use. These are a must-have kitchen towel for any kitchen. I highly recommend them and would definitely purchase again. They’d be great to give as a bridal shower or housewarming gift.

All Clad pots and pans are pricey, but excellent quality. That is why I selected these dishcloths, despite the fact that they were $4.00 apiece, which is a lot of money for something that one uses to wash their dishes. It should be noted that the dishcloths are high quality, heavy material. That being said, the quality control department at the company needs some real supervision. Apparently, in order to machine sew the All Clad name into each dishcloth, the seamstress put a piece of heavy white paper behind where the stitching would appear on each cloth. Someone at the factory needed to take the time to pick off the paper that had then been sewn into the cloth. In other words, it does not dissolve with washing--at least not at this point with the first washing. I spent 15 minutes with a toothpick attempting to dislodge the paper from the embroidered name on each dishcloth. Thus far, I have only gotten half of it untangled from the stitching on each one, and it looks disappointingly messy. Needless to say, I have my work cut out for me, and I am not entirely happy about it!Addendum: After ultimately spending 30 minutes trying to pick out the white paper sewn into the embroidered company name, I gave up! I sent the pricey dishcloths--that would have otherwise been fine--to be returned. I'll never know if I got dishcloths embroidered by a beginner, and everyone else who wrote glowing reviews did not. Quite simply, with the threading of the company name beginning to unravel with my needing to pick at it with a toothpick, I decided that this wasn't worth the effort. I lowered my rated, and put them in the mail.

These hold up well. I got some of the dish towels from a friend that had been washed many times, no rips at the edges, just a little fading which is why I bought the dish cloths. I got Chili and they are beautiful!

I am just reviewing these long after I bought them, because I just noticed that I had not given a review, yet here I am buying them again.

I'm a fan of All-Clad but these dish clothes fell short of quality. I washed and dried these before use. Not very absorbent at all. When you wipe something the tiny fibers are all over your hand too. I've added an image it looks and feels like a plastic thread, Yikes! My other image gives you an indication of the quality and finish too.

Great quaility! Very absorbant and soft. I really liked that they are treated with an agent to inhibit the growth of bacterial odors and control deterioration from mildew. They offer a variety of colors perfect to match any kitchen. Will definately be ordering more!
