Whip-it in no time.
Picked this up to complete the Halloween costume. A little bit of practice and a youtube video or two and I was cracking that whip like I was in an 80's music video. It takes a little bit of time to break in, and there's instructions for that too, and then you know when it's ready...

Great workout
I already knew how to crack smaller whips. Six foot - eight foot is rather easy. I decided to get the 16-foot whip for my birthday because, why not? I just like toying with things. I started using the whip as soon as it was delivered. It's a tough nut to crack (pun intended) but when it cracks, it CRACKS. Let me tell you something. If you want a good cardiovascular workout and a great forearm workout, buy the 16-foot whip. Ten minutes of continuously swinging and trying to crack that thing is worth more than a gym membership. I'm gonna have forearms like Popeye by the time I master this thing. Luckily, I haven't whacked myself with it yet...

Great whip.
Great whip. Fast break in, tough enough for practicing many hours.

Good quality Texas bull whip (8 ft)
The quality is obvious. I'm a novice. But the look and feel is quality. Ordered my boy a four foot model. We are practicing together. And practice is required. Wear jeans and long sleeve shirts along with safety glasses.

WHIP IS GOOD
Okay, jokes aside... this is beautifully made! My only issue is that I have freakin' tiny hands so it's difficult to get used to the handle; I'm sure I'll figure it out though. This is 100% a real whip (not costume) & you should expect such. Please keep in mind where you practice ;) Would recommend and buy again (if needed) in a heartbeat!

This whip cracks easily right out of the box.
I learned to crack a whip 60 years ago, but never had one this nice. I had a poorly made cheap one that fell apart years ago.

They will not ship to Kalifornia.
I bought the 10 foot one as a gift for my daughter in Kalifornia to use in a photo shoot. They refused to ship it to Kalifornia despite their claims to the contrary. WTF??So, I had it shipped to my address in Utah and had to drop another ~$44 bucks to get it to her via Fedex 2 day in time for a photo shoot. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR CLAIMS THAT THEY WILL SHIP ANYWHERE.The whips arrive VERY stiff and dry, tightly coiled and zip tied hard, definitely require lots of leather balm and break in for proper flex action. The plaits are a bit rough compared to high end $1K+ custom pieces from Australia or Dan Dukicin in the US. Unless they need a closeup it will pass muster after she breaks it in. That being said, it is a decent product, pretty obviously made offshore, but it's a movie prop, so...

Underwhelmed
Only used it a few times and the leather “tail” broke. It was very disappointing since it wasn’t a cheap whip. This was a Christmas gift for my husband so the window to return it was past it time.
