Competitive cosplayer, I always trust Paradise
Tl; Dr: From a competitive cosplayer who has used almost every brand under the sun, I only trust Paradise now and will use it either until the day I die or Paradise is no longer produced, whichever comes first. Used this for a big stage performance and it stood up to me ugly crying when our friend's memorial was played and we were announced as one of the winners of the competition we were in (see the selfie photo of myself and my friend, look under my eyes. That was all the damage the makeup took from sobbing and dabbing at my eyes with cheap paper towels!!) Read on for more in depth review + my personal application instructions that work extremely well with Paradise.I've been using this brand for years. It goes on typically in just two layers with a few spot touch ups here and there. And yes, this includes the white and black, two colors that are notorious for being difficult to apply as far as cake makeup is concerned. It is matte in finish and wears very comfortably with just the odd itch every now and then (if you are very itchy, you are either allergic or have put on too thick of a layer). From someone who has had to regularly turn 80% of their body blue as quickly as possible, this is the way I found best to apply and seal Paradise:1) Using a manufactured sponge (the ones with the smooth-ish finish), dampen it to the point of almost being considered dripping wet. You don't want it to drip water, but you want some water to be squeezed out. Work this into the makeup for a few seconds. Before applying, make sure you have put on a few layers of anti-persperant in sweat prone areas.2) Using the same sponge, brush the color onto your skin. This will leave a streaked finish, but that will be fixed in a moment. Cover everything you're going to cover and use a hair dryer to dry faster and not be freezing cold.3) Using a Natural sponge now, dampen it and work it into the color. You don't want the sponge to be so wet that it has water coming out of it when it's rung, but you want it moist enough to pick up color. Once you have worked enough color onto it, dab over all the streaks. Your color will now even out :)4) Touch up anywhere it is needed with the natural sponge and use eye shadows to contour and highlight. Personally I prefer using strong hold hair spray to seal my makeup followed up with a transparent setting powder to get rid of the tackiness. It works much better than setting spray imo. Doesn't matter what you use as long as it's decent and you seal your makeup with it.This method allows me to paint 80% of myself whatever color I want in only 2 hours. It seems to only really work well with Paradise. Other brands don't really like this method and take forever to apply as they feel more like a clay than a compressed powder like Paradise does. Paradise also stays on much better than other brands. If your skin is not sensitive, you can use alcohol in place of water to increase the dry time and lower the risk of the makeup being rubbed off. PLEASE only use water on your face.

Works Great!!!!
I bought this makeup for my Halloween costume, it comes in a dry pressed powder and you just add water to it and paint it on. I used a foundation brush it worked better than using a sponge. The paint spreads easily and is long lasting. I did have to do two coats to get full coverage without streaks. Once it dries the paint stays on perfectly and doesn't even rub off on clothing for the most part. It also washes off very easily with Soap and warm water.

Love how easy it is to use.
Orc makeup practice with LIGHT GREEN.( I used Avocado green by DeLanci for the shading.) White tusks are Mehron paradise paint as well.Easy to activate with a bit of water, put on a sponge and dab away. Wait for each layer to dry before applying the next to build up opacity. I needed two ( I am pretty pale though ), but ended up using 3 in some areas due to minor mess ups as I was going.I did not use a setting spray on my practice trial (pic) and it came off easily with soap and water in the shower and did not stain my skin at all. Without any setting spray however anytime I touched my face the makeup would easily smear.

Great Color!
This worked out very well. I read A LOT of reviews before purchasing for a Halloween Costume. I bought two of each color I ordered knowing it would be a small container to cover my arms legs and face. I should have only ordered one because I didn't even use the extra one I purchased and had plenty left over! (I also put A LOT on.)Below are some things I was looking for that I didn't read in reviews.1. This washed off perfectly at the end of the night and didn't stain my shower, shower curtain, counter or sink.***The Purple was a little more difficult to get off, my boyfriend said he really had to scrub. I used Green and it washed off easily.2. Use a lipstick to complete the color, I bought a dollar store green lipstick and applied it over chapstick3. Buy paint sponges for application and start on your arms to test it out4. LESS IS MORE - I went way too dark at first because I am a perfectionist and thought I needed to be completely filled in. I ended up wiping a layer off halfway through the night because I applied waaaayyy too much.5. Bring it along for touch-ups if you are going out and plan on dancing and sweating - I had to touch up around my lips from drinking without a straw and from sweating it off slightly.

Mehron makeup line is all I will ever use in the future for my costume makeup!
I used this, along with the Mehron white makeup setter, and it was wonderful! Every year I do my makeup for halloween. It was easy to use, I didnt have to use a whole lot to get the coverage I needed, it washed off easily, and didnt clog my pores or feel heavy when i wore it. I suggest wetting a makeup brush and spreading it that was. So easy. The biggest problem i have had in the past is the makeup I have used starts to flake, I sweat through it, and it starts to run. Well, this is the first year I didn't have any of those problems, and I know its because I decided to try the Mehron makeup line. I will NEVER us any other kind of costume makeup again!

Best face and body paint
I bought this for Halloween since I was going for a pin-up zombie look. I think I chose the wrong color, but this product was amazing. It was easy to use with a foundation brush that I dipped into a bit of water. It’s definitely buildable too. I have super sensitive skin and have eczema but this did not irritate my skin at all. I was worried about how much would remain after removal but I used two olay cleansing wipes to take off the make up, and it was easy to remove. I would definitely recommend or get this again for other costume make up needs.

Good but not worth it
The quality is really good, but I highly doubt that it was anywhere near 1.4 ounces of product. What you get is a disk only slightly wider and thicker than a quarter.

Horrible product
I purchased this in advance of Halloween. It was past the return date. Dried up and unusable....DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Not worth 1 penny little line 20.... Walmart sold it for 4$ and it was excellent.

Qualité vs format
Superbe qualité. Couleur opaque une fois sur la peau. Par contre, le format est minuscule comparé à une autre pastille de la même marque et du même prix.

Not as advertised
All I got was a tiny little eye shadow sized pad of dark green, and it cost as much as any other full sized cake. I was so disappointed :( the picture showed the correct size and the measurements matched up with the other containers I'd ordered, but It's not even a fifth of a the full sized pan. The product still works but I feel stupid and/or cheated.
