Not what I expected.
Wasn’t sharp. Pretty dull. Knife handle is also uncomfortable. Sharp plastic edges. I’m a baker/cook so I use a lot of knives and this couldn’t even cut through meat.

Not that sharp
I was looking for a knife to attack a cabbage head. This is just an ordinary knife. The description said extra sharp. It was just normal. I sharpened it, it's better.

Okay for the price, wish it was sharper.
I needed another butcher knife because one was always in the dishwasher. This one is nicely made but not as sharp as I would have liked. I tried cutting a cantelope in half and had to really push to get it to slice through. Hoping my husband could sharpen it a bit more.

Knife blade doesn’t even measure 8in
I needed a big 12in chef knife to engrave some custom Michael Meyers Knives. It’s nowhere near 12in. Blades measure 7.5in. Handle is extremely cheap as well.

Not so bad
Good product. Just one remark: use to order 12”, came 8”.Will use on barbecue

A rip-off
In hindsight, I should have paid more closely to the customers review about this so called 12" Butcher knife. I have bought many knives and all of them that specify the length of the knife is descriptive of the length of the blade. I am sure the maker of this knife is aware of that standard and deliberately used it to describe a knife that has maybe an 8" blade as if it was 12". In actuality it maybe12" from the length of the handle to the tip of the blade. This knife can be bought much more cheaply at one the major bargain stores. I have yet to use it so I can't give an evaluation as to how sharp the blade is but I can say that the blade is very thin. I give this knife a 2 thumbs down. Let the buyer beware!
