A truly spectacular image!
Having lived with a more traditional projector setup (Epson 5040 in the back of the room, white 120” screen) in our family room for almost 3 years I was itching to fix a couple of annoying issues:1- having the projector (which can be noisy) right about the sofa was definitely not great for the WAF2- HDR was really not an option, as everything would get washed out, even at night3- having to constantly switch mode between day time (Dynamic) and night/movie time (Cinema)4- the periodic replacement of the lampThe new UST Laser technology sounded really promising but the $25K Sony line was totally out of my budget. Things changed with the release of the LG “equivalent” and it felt like a good time to make the jump. Now, UST projectors are a lot more finicky setting up and require a specific kind of screen to work their best. There aren’t that many options on the market and despite being “new”, EluneVision sounded like they had a pretty compelling product.I’m not gonna sugar coat it and claim that everything went smoothly. While shipping and packaging were flawless, the installation of the screen itself was NOT a trivial process. The frame itself is build as a tank, quite heavy but easy to assemble once you clear the space for it. The tricky part, for me at least, was getting the fabric perfectly smooth on it.While true for most screens, this is critically important for a UST, as the fabric is not only delicate but any wrinkle will become highly visible. And this is where all hell broke loose for me. :-(My helper and I initially thought we did a great job without realizing we had made a critical mistake in aligning the fabric, a mistake that we never not fully recovered from. After contacting Peter, the support person at EluneVision (super responsive btw), we went thru many attempts at adjusting the setup but never quite got it perfect (slight wrinkles in the corners). Eventually Peter offered to replace the fabric for free (it was likely stretched funny the first time around) and provide a newly produced step by step, installation video. This, to me, really proves the company dedication to customer’s satisfaction. I feel both sorry for messing up and very grateful it is so “forgiven”.Now, obviously, none of this would matter if the screen wasn’t good. And man, it delivers!!After switching the AppleTV to full 4K/60Hz/HDR and 10 bit chroma… it was time to test…During daytime, which is where most of the content is either kids stuff or TV/Sports, the colors and contrast are so much more than I ever got to get with the EPSON, even in Dynamic mode.I end up watching cartoons with my 3 year old cartoons just for the image ;-)But at night time, when we start loading the 4K UHD movies, the jaw just drops! I found myself watching Pixar’s Coco again and again, pausing, walking close to the screen, just stunned by the contrast, the richness of the colors, the details… And then pick up another movie, and do the same thing, until it’s like “ooops, 2am, time for bed…”. Even my wife, which is not really a movie buff, keeps asking “feel like watching a movie tonight?”.It’s really that good!I’m going to include a few pictures (unprocessed, taken with an iPhone) though the setup isn’t final yet… Things to notice, IMHO, beyond the enhanced contrast are the lack of vignetting and the super wide angle of view. The Aurora fabric is truly special. I was hoping to get a close up its structure but found no way to focus on it. There is no shine, just a seemingly infinite depth of gray which totally confuses the iPhone.I remember feeling nervous about spending that kind of money on something “mostly unreviewed” but I do feel I made the right decision. Got to go… have a movie to watch ;-)

Very Happy with the screen
I purchased the 100" EluneVision Auroa 8k and I am shocked at the picture quality. Of course I am using it with a new Vava Ultra Short Throw Projector which helps. Installation was fairly easy but a took a little time due to the fact that I did not have a helper. Watching YouTube videos helped a lot with this.My recommendation is that you first put together the inner frame and then hang that on the wall before applying the screen - that way you can get it hung perfectly level and insure placement is how you want it. The take down and finish the installation. It's not easy to level being that it is so big. I used a laser level and my first attempt, I was off but 1/8 inch but that made a noticeable difference once the very large frame was on the wall. 2nd attempt worked perfectly.my biggest install difficulty had nothing to do with the screen but installing an electrical outlet behind the screen to accommodate the led lighting without seeing any wires. This took a full day but my install looks very professional.Another consideration when using an UST projector - they project to a specific point on the wall (and not much adjustment possibilities) so it is important to know your exact table/console height and knowing where the image will project before hanging the screen. Once these are known, and you get your measurements correct, the install is very easy. The screen took about a week to ship. This was very fast but left enough time to watch all the YouTube videos on the subject so you don't rush. Thanks EluneVision A+++++

Amazing Ultra Short Throw Screen
I purchased my EluneVision Aurora 8K UST ALR projector screen to go with my Sony VPL-VZ1000ES projector. The EluneVision Aurora UST ALR screen is AMAZING! It made my current Screen Innovations' ALR screen look washed out.The EluneVision Aurora UST ALR screen makes colors pop and the picture almost looks 3D. The picture is every bit comparable to my OLED TV only a lot bigger. The build of the screen is solid and was pretty easy to put together.

Excellent UST screen!
Very happy with this screen! The quality is certainly as promised. It does take 2 people and a fair amount of time to assemble, but for good reason. This was anticipated in advance, so not a problem. The directions are easy to follow. Strongly recommend!!
